4 Traveloka customers have stayed in this hotel and given reviews:

It was a quiet and relaxing experience.
Functional and friendly. As it is fasting month, there was nowhere in the area to get breakfast before 9am, but this was not the fault of the hotel. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Their shuttle service was extremely useful, and reasonably priced.
There is no restaurant nearby. Room is clean and comfort.
Dust and small insects being at the bottom of the table, the other very satisfied.

Tries hard but fails!
This accommodation was chosen for on an extended business trip. Unfortunately the organiser was doing it 'on the cheap' as there are other resorts in the area that would have been more appropriate. There are villas or the hotel, which are essentially villas with separate rooms anyway. Some of the villas are privately owned. It was difficult to get anyone to arrange to take the rubbish weekly, we found it a constant battle to fight off the monkeys raiding if it was out the front in readiness to be taken, which most of the time it wasn't. Cleaning was rare and not regular, haphazardly conducted and the bathroom areas never touched. The gym is poorly fitted with equipment and what is there is not maintained or cleaned and it seems to be a place where some of the employees hang around a smoke outside..... Not something that's desirable while trying to workout! Internet is abysmally bad, and there is NO equipment in the villas for example, linens, cooking equipment, cutlery, cups...I could go on!! Having arrived here at 10 pm after flying from Australia and driving from KL to find no bed ready and nothing in the cupboards it was pretty average as this had been arranged quite a while before. I had a cold shower for 3 months as there was no hot water in the bottom shower. It is miles away from any shops or restaurants, certainly no access for someone without a vehicle. They advertise a KDI Cafe, and in 3 months I never saw it opened! Security is a joke, most of the time the gate is left open as the security person (not professional, just local help) would be off doing something else or sleeping! Overall pretty poor and I would not return here by choice.

Good accommodation, sad breakfast
The first time I stayed overnight in this inn was in late May. My first impression was alright and I can stay in this inn again. Room was good and breakfast was quite ok (there were big group of people training or doing retreat). But the second time I stayed overnight here in Jun, I was disappointed. Room is till good. But breakfast is a different story. When my family and I came for breakfast we had no choice but to eat what was served there - some small wrapped nasi lemak, roti and jam and margarine; and a piece of fritter (I couldn't make what it was actually). I am thinking why bother to offer breakfast with the room we booked if you can't provide a worth paying breakfast? I paid RM15 for the breakfast (included in the price of the room). It is certainly not cheap considering the kind of food that you offer. With that kind of value I could get a decent and fulfilling breakfast in McDonald or other stalls. The least you can do was to offer other option like fried eggs or something just to replace the food that was already finished. I think you can do something like that out of courtesy.

Yes it is cheap but it does not still worth it
I think that hotel and its staff have long way to learn service business Although I understand that it mainly serves short stayed for offshore people, still things to improve 1- cleaniness: rooms, cafeteria seriously dirty, insects are everywhere in cafeteria and staff does only smile about it, I do not think they even get it what is about to complain 2- confidence level of staff is very low ( English is very poor, that has its effect as well but a few things did not change in malay explanation either) 3- Facilities: the hotel is nearby to airport but really far away from anything and only facility hotel has simple cafe which is open for breakfast for only a few things , rice, bread, that is all. Evening time, it is open only two hours, they hav printed menu with all sort of food but none is available , they can only make you rise!! It is like joke , once again staff can not see what is wrong with it However, my suprise was this hotel is recomended by trip adviser based on sticker on the door Yes cheap hotel but still it is not worth for money

No frills but clean
These are actually detached houses converted into motels. You wouldn't want to stay here if you have no transport to move around, cos it is out of the way and there is no food within walking distance. The motel is decent, reasonably clean and very quiet. Price is reasonable, and includes a simple local styled breakfast.

A very decent hotel, for the price.
We suspect that the hotel was built there to cater for workers who commute to nearby offshore platforms and refineries (as the hotel is located really next to the airport). Kerteh is a small quiet town, and same goes for the hotel. A reasonable, down-to-earth place; but it is well-maintained, clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Own transport is highly recommended though. Yes, the breakfast is "minimalist" (both in taste and choice)….. but then again, who wants in-house breakfasts when we have all the great options of the local delicacies in town. There are many by-the-roadside restaurants, less than two kilometres away, on the coastal main road. But please go early, as the best dishes shall get sold-out by 9am.
