How to get to Laguna Redang Island Resort

The only way you can get to Laguna Redang Island Resort is by either crossing the South China Sea to Pangkor Island or fly in to the island itself. If you are flying in but wish to take the boat ride across, you would want to land at Sultan Mahmud Airport, from there you would need to get yourself to either Syahbandar Jetty or the Merang Jetty to catch a boat ride across. The distance between the airport and the Merang Jetty is around 30 km. It will take around 34 minutes drive time to get to the jetty from the airport. You can either take a taxi or use the mobile application transportation Grab/Uber which is widely used nowadays. On the other hand, if you are taking the bus, the distance to Syahbandar is relatively closer. The Express Bus Terminal Kuala Terengganu is 400 meters away from the jetty. It will take a less than a minute to get to the jetty. From the Merang Jetty, there will be two trips going to and returning from the island. The first trip for going is 9:30 AM while the second trip is 12:30 PM. The first trip for returning is 9:00 AM while the second trip is 12:00 PM. From the Syahbandar Jetty, there will be three trips going to and returning from the island. The trips for going to the island are at 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM, while the returning trips from the island are 7:00 AM, 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. If you are flying in directly to the island, you will land at Redang Airport instead.

Standard Room is an approximate 272 sq ft room that provide three single beds for three people. There are 10 rooms available under this category. The rooms are mere 200 meters walking distance away from the main lobby and beachfront. This room is suitable for honeymooners, small family and business traveller. The in-room facilities provided including ceiling fan, air-conditioning, coffee & tea making facilities, dvd player, mini fridge and private balcony.

Deluxe Garden is an approximate 300-340 sq ft room that provide Queen or Twin beds. There are 172 rooms available under this category. The rooms provide you with optional views of the landscape garden or the forest. This room is suitable for honeymooners, small family and business traveller. The in-room facilities provided including hair dryer, hot and cold shower, safe deposit box, local TV channels and in-house movies, plus the private balcony.

Deluxe Pool is an approximate 300-340 sq ft room that provide Queen or Twin beds. There are 50 rooms available under this category.
