Port Dickson is a town located on the coast of the state Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Port Dickson used to be a small town that produces charcoal. Due to this, it was previously called Arang which means charcoal in Malay. On the coast road, there used to be carbon mine in the first mile. Hence it was called Jalan Pantai. However, during the Straits Settlement Period, it was developed by the British Empire. Before Port Dickson got its name, the city was called Tanjung.

There are several ways to get to Langit Langi Hotel @ Port Dickson. The main way to get to the hotel would be via car. One may drive towards Port Dickson by taking the Kuala Lumpur – Seremban Expressway then take the Seremban – Port Dickson Expressway. By following this Expressway one may take the exit Lukut. The distance between the two cities are 95.4 kilometres and will take around 1 hour and 21 minutes.
Another way to head to Port Dickson would be by taking the commuter train. Since there is railway built in the city to assist in the trading business, it has also become one of the main communication for the people in Port Dickson. From Kuala Lumpur Central, one may take the Electric Train System or ETS and head to Port Dickson. It will take around 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to the city.
Other than ETS there is also the normal commuter that makes more stops at cities between Kuala Lumpur and Port Dickson. This will cost lesser but may take longer hours to reach to the city. However there is a lady’s coach dedicated for women only.
