This is not supposed to be called a resort, it's actually an apartment only. Room is dirty, cockroach can be seen crawling on bed upon check-in! Breakfast was terribly messy, unhygienic and taste very bad! Even the fruits are not fresh! The mini zoo advertised is also a total lie, not a single turtle nor rabbit available!

We spent 4 days 3 nights at the Grand Lexis Port Dickson, this place is a lovely vacation spot for anyone especially for the kids with private pool (kids friendly hotel). The staff were very tentative and friendly, rooms are cleaned up every day and any demand is resolved within minutes. Breakfast need improvement everyday is a same. Wonderful place to enjoy a quiet beach experience even the weather (rainy day) didn't spoil our holiday and most difficult moment was the day we had to leave this place. Highly recommended!

The resort was amazing and it 's over my expectation. It 's a good experience with stay above sea and the water chalet was amazing with pankin bed and my kids love them much. The bath room was huge with bathtub and thumb up! Pool are fun and my kids enjoy it so much, due we arrive late evening and with the kids pool operation until 9pm, it 's pleasure for them to enjoy even an hour. Unfortunately the towel isn't enough but the pool front desk are so proactive to hand me a towel after he realise my kids without the towel to dry out! Food and breakfast are nice with variety of choice. My family all love it. Some awesome experience the resort with open air animal walking around with peacocks, chickens and birds around without been disturbing and friendly. Keep it up and I will come back for my family trips again with christmas decoration to put the festive events apart with calendars!

The hotel building was old and not well-maintained. Only 1 lift functioning at the main building, the lift was hot and small, the hotel room was smelly with water stained at the room carpet, the bed and bedsheet was yellowish and dirty, TV have no channel because the cable was broken, fridge have leftover inside, dust all over surround the fridge, room telephone was not fuctioning until I informed the receptionist, the maintenance came and plugged in the telephone wire, plus bathtub and curtain was yellowish with no water stopper, I have informed the receptionist, the maintanence took hour to come and brought the unfit water stopper, was told that they have no stock for that, further, the maintenance guy who came to our room did not remove his shoes in which we felt it very rude since we use the room to sleep and rest, it should be clean, 1 star given was only for the clean and beautiful scenery of the beach.

Customer service is really bad. Come at 1.15 pm, they say cannot choose a room with a swimming pool view and only can check in on 3 pm or wait for their call because the room is not ready. Come back at 2.20 pm, wait in the lobby, many people came and surprisingly, all of them get their room. So ask the reception again about our room status. Yes, we get the key. If we wait for their call, maybe we check in in the late evening. So frustrated, we get a room with no view, only a roof. Walking distance to Pasar Malam, buy a lot of delicious food. Need to cross the busy road to the beach. No choice of food for breakfast. The staff late refill the empty food. The bathroom is so small. I will never come back here.

Got private beach, friendly staffs, everything is perfect for a short getaway. Not that far to the PD town and Teluk Kemang. No issue at all, will repeat again in the future.

About

Negeri Sembilan literally means ‘Land of the Nine States’. This is because it really did consist of nine, not states but separate districts under the rule of nine different Malay chieftains which used to make up the state. Over the years, the borders have shifted and the districts are re-organized that today there are 7 districts in Negeri Sembilan, namely Seremban (the capital), Port Dickson, Rembau, Jelebu, Kuala PIlah, Jempol and Tampin.

Negeri Sembilan is greatly influenced by the Minangkabau culture, a community that originated from the West Sumatra and settled in the 15th century. The Minangkabau are famous for their unique and elegant architecture with curving, ornate rooflines whose points are said to resemble buffalo horns and this influence can be seen clearly in Negeri Sembilan up to this very day.

They continued the practice of their rich cultural heritage, which continues on today in the form of the fascinating “Adat Perpatih”, a matrilineal system of rule and inheritance, unique only to Negeri Sembilan. The Minangkalaus and their traditions are indeed to be credited with Negeri Sembilan’s many interesting aspects.
