I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and I am happy with my experience. I was very glad when my room was upgraded to a water chalet, which made my stay more enjoyable and special. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The surroundings were peaceful, allowing me to relax properly. Overview of Lexis Port Dickson

Lexis Port Dickson

is a distinguished 4-star resort nestled along the sun-kissed shores of Port Dickson in Negeri Sembilan, one of Peninsular Malaysia's most beloved coastal getaway destinations. Located at Batu 2, Jalan Seremban, this expansive property commands a prime stretch of beachfront and has earned a reputation as one of the most iconic resort experiences in the region. With 362 well-appointed rooms and villas, Lexis Port Dickson offers an impressive blend of modern comforts and seaside charm that has made it a perennial favourite among Malaysian families, couples, and international visitors alike.

What truly sets Lexis Port Dickson apart from other beachfront hotels in the area is its remarkable collection of overwater villas, each featuring its own

private pool and steam room

. This distinctive concept brings a taste of luxury resort living — often associated with destinations like the Maldives — to the accessible shores of Negeri Sembilan. The resort's architecture is instantly recognisable, with rows of stilted villas stretching gracefully over the Straits of Malacca, creating a visually stunning panorama that has become synonymous with Port Dickson itself. Whether you are watching the golden sunset from your private deck or taking a leisurely dip in your personal plunge pool, the experience here feels both indulgent and refreshingly relaxed.

Beyond the signature villas, Lexis Port Dickson delivers a well-rounded resort experience complete with

direct beach access

, a full-service spa, multiple dining outlets, and complimentary WiFi throughout the property. The resort caters to a wide spectrum of travellers — from romantic couples seeking a peaceful retreat to families looking for a fun-filled weekend escape. Its convenient location, just a short drive from Kuala Lumpur, further cements its appeal as one of the top accommodation choices in Port Dickson.

Room Types at Lexis Port Dickson

Lexis Port Dickson presents three distinct accommodation categories, each thoughtfully designed to suit different preferences and budgets. All rooms and villas maintain a high standard of comfort and come equipped with essential modern amenities including air conditioning, a flat-screen television, complimentary WiFi, a minibar, an in-room safe, and tea and coffee making facilities. The resort's standard

check-in time is 3:00 PM

, with

check-out at 12:00 PM

, allowing guests a generous morning to enjoy the facilities before departure.

Premium Tower Room

The

Premium Tower Room

is an excellent choice for travellers who want to enjoy the Lexis Port Dickson experience at a more accessible price point. These rooms are housed within the resort's main tower building and offer comfortable, well-furnished spaces with contemporary décor. Each Premium Tower Room features either a king-sized bed or twin beds, making them suitable for couples as well as friends travelling together. The rooms are designed with warm, neutral tones and large windows that allow plenty of natural light, with many units offering views of the surrounding landscape or the Straits of Malacca in the distance.

In-room amenities include a private bathroom with hot and cold shower facilities, a hairdryer, complimentary toiletries, and plush bath towels. Guests staying in the Premium Tower Room enjoy full access to the resort's shared facilities, including the main swimming pool, the beach, and all dining outlets. This room category is particularly well-suited for short stays, business travellers, or those who plan to spend most of their time exploring Port Dickson's attractions rather than lounging in their room.

Pool Villa

The

Pool Villa

is the signature accommodation at Lexis Port Dickson and the room type that has made this resort famous across Malaysia. Each Pool Villa is a standalone overwater unit built on stilts above the sea, offering an unparalleled sense of privacy and exclusivity. The defining feature of every Pool Villa is its

own private swimming pool

located on a personal sun deck, along with a private steam room — a combination that is remarkably rare at this price segment in Malaysia.

Inside, the Pool Villa is spaciously laid out with a king-sized bed dressed in premium linens, a comfortable living area, and a well-appointed bathroom. The interiors blend contemporary furnishings with warm timber accents that complement the overwater setting. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open out onto the private deck, seamlessly merging indoor and outdoor living spaces. Guests can step directly from their villa onto their sun deck to enjoy a morning swim or an evening soak while gazing out at the Straits of Malacca. The Pool Villa comfortably accommodates two adults and is ideal for couples on a romantic getaway or anyone seeking a tranquil, self-contained retreat.

Premium Pool Villa

For guests who desire an elevated experience, the

Premium Pool Villa

represents the finest accommodation at Lexis Port Dickson. Building upon everything the standard Pool Villa offers, the Premium Pool Villa features a more generous floor plan with enhanced furnishings and upgraded appointments throughout. Each unit includes a

larger private pool

, a private steam room, and a more expansive sun deck that provides additional space for relaxation and alfresco enjoyment.

The interior of the Premium Pool Villa is finished to a higher specification, with upgraded bedding, premium bathroom fixtures, a more spacious living area, and refined decorative touches that lend an added sense of sophistication. Select units within this category may also offer superior positioning within the resort, granting unobstructed sunset views over the water. The Premium Pool Villa is the ideal choice for special occasions such as anniversaries and honeymoons, or simply for travellers who wish to indulge in the very best that Lexis Port Dickson has to offer. This villa type can typically accommodate two adults comfortably, with some configurations allowing for an additional guest or a young child upon request.

Facilities and Amenities

Lexis Port Dickson is equipped with a comprehensive range of facilities that ensure guests have everything they need for a memorable stay. The resort's

outdoor swimming pool

serves as a vibrant social hub, offering a spacious deck area with sun loungers where guests can soak up the tropical sunshine. For those who prefer the natural coastline, the resort provides

direct beach access

to a stretch of sandy shoreline along the Straits of Malacca — perfect for leisurely strolls, sandcastle building with the children, or simply watching the spectacular Port Dickson sunsets.

Wellness enthusiasts will appreciate the resort's

full-service spa

, which offers a menu of relaxing treatments including traditional Malay massages, aromatherapy sessions, and body scrubs designed to rejuvenate weary travellers. The spa uses a combination of local and international techniques, providing a soothing escape after a day of activities. For those who prefer to stay active, the resort also provides recreational facilities to keep guests entertained throughout their stay.

Complimentary WiFi

is available throughout the resort, ensuring that guests can stay connected whether they are in their room, by the pool, or at one of the dining outlets. The property also offers ample

car parking

facilities, with parking available from approximately RM 5 per entry for day visitors, though overnight guests typically enjoy complimentary parking as part of their stay. Additional guest services include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, laundry and dry-cleaning services, and a gift shop within the resort premises.

For families travelling with children, Lexis Port Dickson provides a

children's playground

and a kids' pool area, ensuring younger guests are well catered for. The resort also features meeting and event spaces, making it a viable option for corporate retreats, team-building getaways, and intimate celebrations such as weddings and birthday gatherings.

Location and Getting There

Lexis Port Dickson enjoys a strategic location at

Batu 2, Jalan Seremban, 71000 Port Dickson

, positioned along the main coastal road that runs through this popular seaside town in Negeri Sembilan. The resort is situated close to the northern end of Port Dickson's beach strip, providing easy access to the town centre as well as the string of attractions and eateries that line the coast.

For travellers driving from

Kuala Lumpur

, Lexis Port Dickson is approximately 90 to 100 kilometres away, a journey that typically takes around one and a half to two hours via the ELITE Expressway (North–South Expressway) or the LEKAS Highway through Seremban. The drive is straightforward and well-signposted, making it one of the easiest beach getaways from the capital. From

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)

, the resort is roughly 80 kilometres away, with a driving time of approximately one hour and fifteen minutes, making it a convenient option for visitors arriving by air.

Those travelling by public transport can take a

KTM Komuter train

to Seremban station and then arrange a taxi or ride-hailing service to Port Dickson, a journey of around 30 to 40 minutes from the station. Alternatively, express buses operate from Kuala Lumpur's Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) to Port Dickson bus terminal, from where the resort is a short taxi ride away. Ride-hailing services such as Grab are widely available in the area and offer a convenient way to reach the resort from major transport hubs.

Nearby attractions include the

Army Museum (Muzium Tentera Darat)

, located just minutes from the resort, and the famous

Cape Rachado Lighthouse

(Tanjung Tuan), which sits at the southernmost tip of Negeri Sembilan's coastline and is a popular hiking spot. The

PD Ostrich Show Farm

and various water sports operators along the beach are also within easy reach, ensuring there is no shortage of activities for adventurous guests.

Dining at Lexis Port Dickson

Lexis Port Dickson houses several

on-site dining outlets

that cater to a variety of tastes and occasions. The resort's main restaurant serves a diverse selection of local Malaysian and international cuisine, providing guests with the convenience of quality dining without needing to leave the property. Breakfast is typically offered here in a buffet format, featuring a spread of both Asian and Western options — from nasi lemak, roti canai, and dim sum to toast, eggs, cereals, and fresh tropical fruits. The breakfast experience is a highlight for many guests, particularly given the pleasant setting with views of the surrounding resort grounds.

Beyond breakfast, the restaurant serves lunch and dinner menus that showcase popular Malaysian dishes alongside international favourites. Guests can expect options ranging from local seafood preparations and Malay curries to Western grills and pasta dishes. The resort also features a

lounge and bar area

where guests can unwind with refreshments, light snacks, and beverages in a relaxed atmosphere — an ideal spot for a pre-dinner drink or a late-evening nightcap.

For guests who wish to explore the local food scene, Port Dickson offers an abundance of excellent dining options just a short drive from the resort. The town is renowned for its

fresh seafood restaurants

, many of which are located along the coastal road and serve beautifully prepared dishes at reasonable prices. Popular local favourites include grilled stingray, butter prawns, chilli crab, and a variety of ikan bakar (grilled fish) preparations. The nearby town centre also features a range of hawker stalls and casual eateries serving beloved Malaysian staples such as mee goreng, char kuey teow, and satay, with most meals available from approximately RM 6 to RM 15 per dish.

Why Stay at Lexis Port Dickson

Private pools in every villa are a genuine luxury.

The single most compelling reason to choose Lexis Port Dickson is the extraordinary offering of a private swimming pool and steam room in each Pool Villa and Premium Pool Villa. This level of in-room luxury is typically reserved for high-end resorts at significantly higher price points. At Lexis Port Dickson, guests enjoy this exclusive experience in an accessible, family-friendly setting — making it one of the best-value luxury resort propositions in Malaysia.

The location is perfectly positioned for a quick escape.

Situated less than two hours' drive from Kuala Lumpur, Lexis Port Dickson is tailor-made for weekend getaways and short breaks. There is no need for flights or lengthy transfers; simply load up the car and you are on your way to a beachfront retreat. This proximity to the capital makes it an ideal destination for spontaneous trips and last-minute holiday plans.

Stunning sunsets over the Straits of Malacca are unforgettable.

Port Dickson faces west, which means the coastline is blessed with some of the most spectacular sunset views in Peninsular Malaysia. Watching the sun dip below the horizon from your private overwater deck, cocktail in hand, is an experience that guests return for time and again. It is a moment of natural beauty that photographs simply cannot do justice.

The resort caters to all types of travellers.

Whether you are a couple seeking romance, a family looking for poolside fun, or a group of friends after a lively getaway, Lexis Port Dickson has the room types and facilities to suit. The range from Premium Tower Rooms to Premium Pool Villas ensures there is an option for every budget and preference, while the resort's diverse facilities keep everyone entertained throughout their stay.

Comprehensive facilities mean you never need to leave.

With a spa, beach access, multiple dining options, a swimming pool, recreational activities, and complimentary WiFi, Lexis Port Dickson functions as a self-contained holiday destination. Guests who prefer to simply relax within the resort grounds will find more than enough to fill their days, while those who crave exploration have Port Dickson's many attractions right on their doorstep.

Tips for Booking Lexis Port Dickson

Book early for weekends and public holidays.

Lexis Port Dickson is one of the most popular resorts in the region, and its Pool Villas in particular tend to sell out quickly during peak periods. If you are planning a weekend stay, a school holiday trip, or a visit during major festive periods such as Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, or Deepavali, it is advisable to book at least three to four weeks in advance through Traveloka to secure your preferred room type and the best available rates.

Weekday stays offer better value.

Rates at Lexis Port Dickson are generally more favourable from Sunday through Thursday, making midweek stays an excellent option for travellers seeking a quieter resort atmosphere and more competitive pricing. A Monday-to-Wednesday stay, for example, allows you to enjoy the resort with fewer crowds and often at a noticeable saving compared to Friday and Saturday night rates.

Choose the right villa category for your needs.

If the private pool experience is important to you — and it truly is the highlight of this resort — make sure to book either the Pool Villa or the Premium Pool Villa rather than the Premium Tower Room. The difference in experience is substantial, and the Pool Villa represents outstanding value for what is essentially a private overwater retreat. However, if you are visiting primarily to explore Port Dickson and simply need a comfortable base, the Premium Tower Room serves that purpose very well.

Request a sunset-facing unit.

When booking through Traveloka, consider adding a special request for a villa with an unobstructed westward view. While this cannot always be guaranteed, the resort does its best to accommodate such preferences, and a sunset-facing unit truly elevates the overall experience. Mentioning this request in the special notes section during your booking can make all the difference.

Pack essentials for the private pool.

If you are staying in a Pool Villa or Premium Pool Villa, bring your own pool floats, waterproof speakers, and perhaps some candles for an atmospheric evening by your private pool. These small additions can transform your villa experience into something truly special. Also, be sure to make use of the private steam room — it is an amenity that many guests overlook but is perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach.

Experience: We had a bad experience with our first room (bad smell, leaking sink, noisy phone), but the staff was nice to change us to another room, which was way better in terms of more modern furniture and cleaner overall. They even extended our check-out time to 1pm as an apology. It was hard to reach the front desk via phone call (unreachable despite multiple attempts), so we had to walk all the way to front desk. Room: The room is equipped with essentials like free bottled drinking water, disposable toothbrush & toothpaste, hairdryer, kettle, tea & coffee packets, shampoos, and vanity kit. If you're staying more than a night, they will make up your room and restock everything. Breakfast: Breakfast has a variety of food to choose from. Seats are plenty (outdoor and indoor). Some food are nice, some maybe not so much, but hey, at least there are variety of choices. Parking: Plenty of parking spots to choose from, ranging from outdoor to multi-floor parking. Amenities: In terms of available facilities, gym, pool and some kids activities are available. Would be great if there is a beach linked to the hotel itself, but it's fine because there are many beaches in Port Dickson within driving distances. Area: The hotel is located within 10-15 minutes of driving to many areas, so it wouldn't be an issue provided that you have a transport.

We choose to stay at Lexis PD because my kids were attracted to the indoor and outdoor games as published in the website but we're very disappointed that most of the games are not available. The room was OK except the phone room is out of order and we cannot make any calls to housekeeping to ask for extra towels and to call for buggy etc.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and I am happy with my experience. I was very glad when my room was upgraded to a water chalet, which made my stay more enjoyable and special. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The surroundings were peaceful, allowing me to relax properly. The hotel facilities were good, and the staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. I also tried the food from the hotel, and it was satisfying. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the location was easy to access. Overall, I am satisfied with my stay and appreciate the room upgrade. I would consider staying here again in the future.

Everything is good except for the Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi is very slow and there are not so many TV channels to watch.

Checked in for 3D2N stay with my family. There are ample of parking slots at the hotel. Check-in process is very fast. From 10th floor room we get a very good view of the water chalets and Straights of Malacca. Breakfast is very good with lots of variety of food.

Best breakfast food. The view of the hotel is very beautiful, but the cleanliness is very poor in terms of rooms and also the elevator. Room condition is also a bit gloomy creepy too.
