Tampin stadium is located near to Kompleks Arena Dataran Tampin. The Tampin District is a district in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. However, part of the Tampin town spills over into the neighbouring state of Malacca, as it is located along the Malacca-Negeri Sembilan border. Tampin district is further divided into four adat or socio-political provinces: Tampin town, Air Kuning, Gemencheh and Gemas. Tampin gets its name from the container or pouch weaved from the pandanus fronds. The container was used to store condiments such as the kelamai or dodol and the shrimp paste belacan.

By Plane

If you are traveling by air, nearest airport is the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (IATA: KUL, ICAO: WMKK) is an international airport, which located in Sepang, Selangor. Both terminals, KLIA and KLIA2 airport is located about 40 minutes from the Tampin.

By Car

By car, it is accessible by either North-South Expressway (PLUS) using the Simpang Ampat exit in neighbouring Melaka or using a route which connects Tampin to Seremban and Johor Bahru. The North-South PLUS Highway is a modern toll road that runs from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. Tampin is also the southern end of Federal Route which begins in Karak in the east coast state of Pahang. Motorists from Melaka are thus able to access the East Coast Expressway to get to Kuantan or Kuala Terengganu while bypassing Kuala Lumpur.

By Bus

In-town public buses are available at reasonable price, depending on the type of bus and destination. Besides running ordinary routes in housing areas and on main roads of Negeri Sembilan, the Cityliner buses also perform regular service routes between Seremban and KLIA2, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Nilai and Banting. Metered taxi, Uber and Grab car services can easily be found at an affordable price. You also can rent a car to tour around in Tampin.

By Train

Tampin is served by the West Malaysian railway's system. In fact, Gemas which is part of Tampin district is the meeting point of West Malaysia's eastern and western railway lines. The Pulau Sebang/Tampin railway station is in Pulau Sebang, which is on the Malaccan side, about 1 kilometre from the town centre. Furthermore, since Malacca Town does not have a railway station, people living in Malacca normally have to travel to the station in order to get on a train. There is a KTM Komuter train operating from KL Sentral to Tampin.
