Staycation
Bad. Rooms were run down, dusty and smelly. Toilets were stuffy with rat urine smell. Balcony deck were so dirty with birds ' droppings everywhere. We took 2 water chalet room with price of RM1,142, quite pricey therefore we expect great accommodation and experience but it was horrible. Will never repeat this hotel again unless they refurbish. So not worth the money.

First of all, I have been waited for more than 40mins on queue to check-in. The room was quite far from the lobby, when I entered the room, I realized the room furniture were outdated and some of the appliances e.g. TV where the screen was blurred, the phone doesn't work and full of bird droppings the balcony. The floor of the toilet was dusty and seems like didn't clean up for months. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone

The whole place has a rustic vibe. Staff were all polite & welcoming. Guards were helpful & told us where we can park so that we can load/unload nearer to the check-in area. Desk reception Maisarah was very warm & friendly, despite my many questions, she was still patient. If you're someone who wants to sleep in late, consider asking for a further water chalet that is away from the common pools as it can get very noisy in early morning. 1st night & the aircon leaked, luckily not onto the bed. Technicians quickly came by to repair. Sheets had stains & hair strands, and toilet & shower is al fresco, very rustic but recommended to wear slippers as the stone floors felt dirty. Water chalet experience highly recommend as the white noise is awesome to sleep to. It 's so soothing when the tide is high in early morning & you hear the waves. The beach there is public, so anyone can come & go, not exclusive to Avillion. Would be nicer if it can be less crowded. Overall a pleasant stay.

Loved the attractions, everything was great. The chalet itself is easily accessible, rustic as well but a little bit too rustic. Probably needs maintenance. Food was okay. Nearby places are easily accessible as well.

This is not the water chalet you would think you have book like I did when I booked it. It is more of a sand chalet with view of other rooms. Maybe I got a bad allocation and when ask nicely to change room, the manager said he cannot control the water to come in a very sarcastic manner. Also said the room is good for fishing but with no water how to fish and also it is not what we travel for to stay in this place just to fish. Again the manager said he cannot control the water for us to fish when I did not ask him to do such a silly thing. The place is a bit run down, toilet lock not functioning properly, lizard running around here and there, old and worn off furniture and if no view just good for fishing during high tide then better go fish somewhere else where the water is always there for the fish to swim in rather than wait for the high tide water to come in. Again the manager may say he cannot control the water or the even the fish to swim in when this is not ask from him. Such a sarcastic person. Privacy is very lacking. You can basically and easily look into another unit bedroom's bed itself from just outside the unit without really trying. You can feel very uncomfortable to undress in your own unit bedroom. There is no day curtain and so if you bring down the roller curtain the room become very dark and the lighting is not adequate to light up the room well. The roller curtain is also rather heavy. Difficult to handle for lady or people with weak arms. Need two hands to handle the roller curtains and to tie it to the handle on the wall. Furniture are worn off and some are damaged on the surface. Very unsightly. Even the electrical socket can come out. Poor safety and bad maintenance. Feel unsafe, no privacy and no view and no water although it is call a water chalet when you book it and had to hope to high tide to see the sea water coming it at very shadow level. This is not a place you want to come for privacy, family gathering as it is an unsafe place if your children accidentally touch any of the power socket. The Wi-Fi is not only slow but you have to key in the user id and password frequently as it get out after sometime when not using. Very inconvenient. If you bring your TV top, it cannot play very smoothly as it might stop now and then. Not much to do around too. We booked 3 days 2 nights. We checked out immediately after one night after taking the breakfast. Not recommended for family or people who want a nice place or nice view. Not worth the value or the time for it.

The place is nice but once arrives get room key, in heavy rain walk a bit far go to room and I saw got people in my room and they are just check in, call the receptionist my name in system but how come another person get the room. Wait about 30 m bellboy send another room key. Give us room very front not in the water 😫 and the room balcony got so many dry twigs. Call again ask to change another room but the hotel is full and only left room with two single bed and the staff in the call so rude said penat betul la. Penat with us maybe. We are more tired. 3pm-5. 3pm baru settle. I feel so bad spoil my vacation. Not happy at all very bad.

The hotel was okay. Beautiful scenery. The room was dusty, dirty and it looked old and run down. There were ants in the bathroom, on the sink counter top. You'll only have hot water for a couple of minutes when showering, after that the water turns cold. It ' s a shame, it ' s such a nice place. During breakfast, there were small bugs flying around the bread. Cleanliness is important. I hope they'll improve this.

The resort was amazing and it 's over my expectation. It 's a good experience with stay above sea and the water chalet was amazing with pankin bed and my kids love them much. The bath room was huge with bathtub and thumb up! Pool are fun and my kids enjoy it so much, due we arrive late evening and with the kids pool operation until 9pm, it 's pleasure for them to enjoy even an hour. Unfortunately the towel isn't enough but the pool front desk are so proactive to hand me a towel after he realise my kids without the towel to dry out! Food and breakfast are nice with variety of choice. My family all love it. Some awesome experience the resort with open air animal walking around with peacocks, chickens and birds around without been disturbing and friendly. Keep it up and I will come back for my family trips again with christmas decoration to put the festive events apart with calendars!
