Stayed only for 6 hours. Pros: Clean room with comfortable bed. Aircon was good. Cons: No hot water in bath. Reception forgot to give me a wake up call at 5am.
You get more than what you pay. Really glad that we stayed there.

1) The hot shower is a joke. The excuse is that they use solar panels and not electricity. Well and good but isn't there hot water storage and some kind of control? It defeats it's purpose of conserving energy. The owners r only interested in making more profits by saving on electricity which costs a bomb. When it is cold you bathe in cold water because of the excuse there is no sun and when you don't need hot water the water is so hot because you can't control it. What's the point of installing solar panels when they don't serve the needs of guests? 2) My room is queen and there's a picture of in-room tea/coffee in the page. It is also claimed that the room has tea/coffee making facilities. In truth, there's only a kettle and bottled drinking water, not even mineral water. If you want a hot coffee (the tea bags r hidden in the store though the receptionist told me they have plentiful) you gotta go downstairs to the lobby to get it. This is the problem of a no-star hotel which tries to save on the small items which is really so off-putting. 3) I told them no need to do housekeeping for the two nights I was there but I had to come down to get bottled water/towels and floor cloth for the second day. Of course I did not ask for water on the third day as my entitlement was for 2 days only. Yet when I was at the reception asking for water the owner happened to be there and asked me if I had no water in my room. Whether I had water or not it wasn't her business because it was my entitlement for the day. I already saved her staff from cleaning my room for the second day. 4) Parking is another joke because they don't have a parking lot for guests. They only give 2 complimentary tickets (this is another joke. They think they r being very generous), meaning a total of 80 sen for two hours. By right the hotel should have an arrangement for its guests by paying a certain amount each month (the amount could be roughly estimated by looking at the number of guests for the whole year and divide by 12. They could discuss this with the local council. They could roughly estimate a few hours' parking a day for each guest It can be done if the management is more proactive) to the local council so guests do not have to scratch so many hourly tickets because the local council does not sell daily tickets. The hotel could give it's guests a card with the hotel logo to display on their car dashboards. Imagine the hassle. It is not so much spending RM2-3 or even RM5 on the parking. This is something the management has to think about. It deters me from coming to Tapah unless I have no choice. 5) Early on the second morning I went down to reception to ask for a roll of toilet paper because they did not even provide a box of tissue in the room. All I had was a used toilet roll in the toilet. The receptionist had the audacity to hand me a used roll, meaning this must have come from the toilet. I wanted to use it to wipe other stuff so I should not have been so nice as to accept that used roll. This hotel recycled its toilet paper, hopefully not soiled ones!!! If possible avoid all Loong Fatty hotels, including the one in Bidor. Their small-guy attitude did not impress me in the least. In fact I was disgusted.
I had a pleasant stay here. We stayed in a family suite. It is clean & comfy &spacious.
Easy check-in with clean room. Great location as there are several shops nearby.
- Family vacation
The hotel room was clean 9.5/10. Friendly staff and fast check in. Good hotel location, walking distant to town center with many food restaurants. Hot water slow for shower. Understand the heating system is powered by solar. Overall, great value for money.
- Business travel
Never thought the hotel would be so comfortable. Had a good stay and a good sleep with my family. Worth the stay. I’ll definitely recommend to those who needs a place to stay in Tapah to go to LF Hotel. It is just a few minutes away from the Tol.
