Me and my friend really had an amazing stay here. Room and toilet was clean. Very close most of the famous landmark, also easy to find food in Jonker street, only walking distance. Breakfast also was good! Owner was so friendly and kind. Will absolutely recommend this motel!

The staff is super friendly & very helpful. as a moslem traveler I got lots of help especially in terms of finding halal food nearby. The room is a bit small but just perfect to fit 2 people. it would be a problem though if you carry big luggages. the hostel is strategically located near all the famous attractions in melaka. you could also rent a bike for 5rm/hour or 15rm for 3 hours & over.

the room is surprisingly very small. we have to open and close the main gate every time we want to enter or go out. such a funny experience. it feels like we're back to our own house and we need to open the door on our own. but the staff is very friendly and helpful. the location is very convenient. it is very near to those main attractions and jonker street. all places are within the walking distance. was difficult to find the motel at first as it is quite hidden

Perfect location very close to Jonker Street; nice design in shared areas; nice owner; clean towels and bed sheets; clean bathroom (attached to double room); good AC. Rooms are pretty small but it’s okay for a few nights; the window is not soundproof at all so you can hear noise from the street (did not really bother our sleep though); very thin walls.

Room is small but cozy.. Air con is cold. It'a so nice because malacca is hot.. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. Stay there is like stay at home.

A comfortable place with hygiene up on par. The staff/owner is very friendly and amiable. I was booking a single room and the owner gave me a double room upon seeing my many luggage without any extra charge. Many things is negotiable and accommodating. After all, it is a good place to stay if you are looking for a cheap, clean and friendly staffed lodging. Besides that its WiFi is not bad and it is within walking distance from Kampung Kling Mosque, St Paul's Church, A Famosa, Jonker street, Dataran Pahlawan and Makhota Parade. But, alas, every rose has its thorn, there is no complimentary water bottle and it is a little bit noisy which I believe is due to the bustle of Jonker street (only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night). But all this downsides is negligible as what more can you expect for the price. It is actually better than what should be possible at this price. Will definitely come next time. A big thumbs- up to the staff/owner.

I booked a single room. Funny though, they didn't have any picture of it when I booked. Only a picture of the common bath. When I got there, I was upgraded to a double room at the first floor. It's a 2-story building. If you have fear of tight spaces, this might not be the best place for you. They close their gates at 7PM so be sure to call them if you are planning on a late check-in. They will give you a key once you're booked so don't worry there is no curfew so you can come back from your stroll even after past midnight. They provide a shampoo and a hand wash in the toilet but I suggest you also bring your own. Although I didn't ask since I already have one, I didn't get any complimentary drinks/water. The host is nice although a bit vain with his pics all over the place. They have keyless doors so always bring you card even when going to the toilet. If you need water, there's a dispenser just outside the place. The small alley beside the place has art on the wall so in can be a bit noisy during the day if you are going to sleep in. The window in the room where I stayed was broken so mosquitoes can come in but I just secure the small curtain so it's blocked. So going back to the upgrade, I'm not sure if they really do have a single room. Best bet is to book a single room since it's cheaper if you are going with a friend and they might upgrade you to a double room since the single room probably doesn't exist.
