Nice. Fantastic. I can see the light of jb from the top.

I normally don't do any review. But this hotel lift really in poor condition. Hopeless poor quality lift which makes us to wait so long. On top of that it's very shaky. Other than that, service is reasonable and breakfast is fair.
9.4
Everything was OK except for the lift, it's too slow, there's some good food around hotel area.

Value for money
When I travel alone, I do not look for expensive hotel, that I need is a comfortable bed and a good breakfast. The Hotel looks quite old and needs renovation, but it is a good value for money.Do not expect a five stars service for the you gonna pay. The room is ok, nothing to shoot about, and the front desk staff is very polite and helpful. The cleanness should be improved. The breakfast is good and local food is served. There is a complimentary car park, where you can recover your car during the night.

Okay for A Night Stay
Stayed for 1 night in Family room-1king bed and 1 single bed. Nice view from 16th floor. Clean and huge room. Toilet are dated. Old hotel and slow elevator. Breakfast nothing to shout for. Location was strategic near Checkpoint. Overall were okay for a night stay. Not all staff are friendly

Not bad hotel excellent services
I travel with my girlfriend and yes, the review is totally right. It is old hotel and slow elevator. The room is spacious and the view was nice. But there is no towel inside need to request. It is such disappointment but the service relief us! The manager Shafiq (the only guy at counter) proudly service us with 5 star treats! He is really professional and the way he explained to us shows that this hotel is not that bad thou. We did enjoy the breakfast given (delicious spread so far) and the cafe along with receptionist doing good. Should be 5 star rating but due to facilities need to be improve so this is it. Will come back at this hotel soon. *dont judge the book by its cover for first time traveller to this hotel

Will stay again if the price is right
The room that I had was surprisingly nice although not pristine. Was supplied with only 1 toilet paper (single ply). No safe box in room. Television channels uninspiring and mostly fuzzy images. No cable TV, it’s all antenna. I had great views from my window. Reception staff were polite but lacked warmth. Not forthcoming in details. No directions given to find the way up to my room. Forgettable service. The elevators were slow except for the ones near the restaurant which was slightly faster and more scenic. Swimming pool doesn't seemed to be cleaned often. Water was icy cold. The jacuzzi was not operational. Steam and sauna were on demand. Changing room was run down. Breakfast spread was average. The price was okay until I was asked to pay for the tourism tax of MYR10. This was not included in the online pricing. If this tax was added to the online price, I’d be better informed on its value for money. Overall, I will stay again but only if the price is right. Will not pay more as the facilities and services were kinda uninspiring. Hope I will remember about the tourism tax in the future. You know what would make this hotel better? Spruce up the swimming pool area. It has a nice window view. Since it is indoor, why not heat it up? A cafe nearby would be great or an indoor activity centre. In the room, add power points at the bedside tables. Upgrade to cable TV with better channels. Provide more toilet papers. Dedicated elevators that served higher floors only or guest-only elevators accessible via card access. Room deco was beautifully done but needs attention to details on cleanliness. Provide bed comforter if possible. Concentrate on delicious breakfast dishes rather than quantity. Better customer service training - the basics are there but it lacked that special people-to-people connection.

Average hotel
We stayed in this hotel from 31st Aug to 2nd Sept at level 18. When we first saw the hotel, the hotel looks old and there were a lot car wash centres around it. Location was strategic as you can drive or take the grab car to the malls around JB town and visit the glass temple. It is also quite near to Woodlands, Singapore. You can take the train in JB sentral or drive to Singapore from this hotel. The counter service was average as they looked tensed and not friendly. Cleanliness of the room was average. The bathtub had human hair around it and I had to clean the tub. The room was spacious though and they provided toiletries and newspaper. Parking was free and parking area was not that bright. The breakfast was standard with western and asian dishes (fried rice was good). The lift was also a problem. It took us at least 1 min from ground floor to 18th floor. On the last day of our stay, 1 out of the 3 lifts broke down and caused a major chaos due to the waiting time. Overall, it wasn't a bad stay. However, due to the cleanliness and lift chaos, I would not stay here again. My suggestion to the hotel management is to upgrade their current facilities and train their staffs to be more customer friendly.
