How to Get There

By Car

People driving from Kuala Lumpur may drive through the North South Expressway (PLUS) and head towards the Danga Bay interchange exit. Upon exiting, It is just a 10 minutes’ drive in reaching the entrance of Danga Bay areas. For those coming from Singapore and Johor Bahru shall use the Skudai Highway and subsequently follow the Danga Bay interchange exit, which is located near Istana Bukit Serene.

Danga Festival Mall

Being the first ever purpose-built 280 lots shopping street, it offers a variety of retail units with concourse area for exhibitions and shows as well. Danga Festival Mall surely offers a great retail therapy experience blended well with local charm and culture. Danga Petting Zoo

Danga Petting Zoo features a wide variety of animals for an outdoor education experience whereby the visitors get the chance to closely pet and touch, feel and feed the animals including tiger cubs, lions, redhanded tamarind monkeys, albino pythons, iguanas, blue and gold macaws, reptiles, elephants and hornbills. There are also schedule of daily animals shows.

Danga World Theme Park

Sultan Abu Bakar State Mosque

This state mosque of Johore is located along Jalan Skudai and situated on a hill, with a bird eye’s view of the Straits of Johore. It was completed in the year 1900. The architecture is quite unique with a mix of two distinguishable styles which are Victorian and Moorish with a little influence of Malay style. Even though the main purpose of this mosque is to cater Muslim praying rituals, non-Muslims are allowed to enter this mosque for visiting purpose. However, as a sign of respect, decent and modest clothing must be worn. Besides that, visitors must remove their shoes before entering the mosque.

Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple

The temple is situated next to the railway station tracks in between Jalan Tun Abdul Razak and Jalan Mohd Taib, located along Jalan Tebrau. The building looks extremely stunning especially when it shines under the sunlight because it is wholly decorated with impressive glass artwork in both exterior and interior. The temple also houses several gold statues of various Hindu Gods displayed side to side. The entrance fee is RM 10 for a foreigner and free entry for Malaysian. Tourist‘s visiting hours is from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily while the prayers time is from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
