Stulang Bahru is a residential area in Johor Bahru town, Malaysia. It is around 5 kilometres away from the city centre. It is made up of 2 main roads which are Jalan Stulang Darat and also Jalan Stulang Laut. Before it is a residential area that it is now, it used to be a fishing village opposite the Johor Straits. Now the area is made up of low cost flats, schools and some other residency properties. It also has a temple that is nearly 80 years old nearby Stulang Bahru. The royal palace of Johor Sultan, Pasir Pelangi, is also located here.

If during the day, visitors are looking for something more heavy to fill their stomach they may find Warung Batu that prepares Indonesian Nasi Padang. It is said to have the best curry there. There are also dishes such as Asam Pedas, ulam and many more. Stulang bahru may not be that big of a city however it still has several attractions that can only be know if it is asked to the locals only.
