Skudai is a town in Johor Bahru District, Johor, Malaysia. Skudai is part of the new growth corridor of southwest Johor, which includes the Senai International Airport, Tanjung Pelepas Port and Iskandar Puteri. Its population ranges between 160,000 and 210,000. It is the headquarters of the Johor Bahru Tengah Municipal Council and it is home to the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia campus, one of leading university in Malaysia. Skudai is located about 8 km, 4 km and 16 km from Kulai, Senai and Johor Bahru city (Bandaraya) respectively. Chinese make up the majority of the population at 65%, followed by the Malays at 22%, and Indians at 12%. Malay, Chinese, and Indian food is widely sold and served in restaurants and food stalls throughout the town; a large variety of food is available throughout the area. Mamak restaurants are mostly available in Taman Universiti, near the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia campus.

Angry Bird Theme Park, Johor Bahru

Since 2015, the Angry Birds game has become a sensational with over 2.5 billions downloads all over the world. The “Angry Birds” are multi-colored birds who try to save their eggs from green-colored pigs. The indoor game park covers 26.000 sq. ft. area full of excitement, and located in KOMTAR, Johor Bahru City Centre (JBCC). At the entrance, the Angry Birds cartoon showing on a flat-screen TV will mesmerize you. There are five main attractions in the park namely, Danger Zone, Utopia, South Beach, Classic and lastly Angry Bird Shop. You can simply purchase the ticket via online or just walk-in at the counter. Individual or family tickets are available from RM 60 and RM 280 respectively. In addition, annual passes are also available. From Monday to Thursday, tickets are valid from time of entry until 10.00 pm, while from Friday to Sunday and public holidays, the operational hours will be divided into three sessions. Most of the games and attractions in the park are accessible to all including the disabled. Opening hours are from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm, daily.
