The Senai International Airport or known as the Sultan Ismail International Airport is a new airport located in Senai, Kulai District, Johor, Malaysia. It is close to Johor Bahru. The airport is the main airport in the state of Johor and can provide services, especially to the residents of Johor. Senai International Airport is also the fifth busiest airport in Malaysia.

Senai International Airport is also one of AirAsia's hub. Currently, the airport is managed by Senai Airport Terminal Services Pvt. Ltd. It is the first independent airport operator in Malaysia after its separation from Syarikat Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad in 2003. This airport was originally opened in 1974 and provided services to residents Johor and South Johor.

By Bus

From Senai International Airport, you can catch the airport shuttle bus which is the white Causeway Link bus to Johor Bahru City Centre at JB Sentral. In addition, you can also take Causeway Link bus number 333 to Larkin Bus Terminal. If you come from the City Centre or Larkin Sentral, you can take the white Causeway Link bus or the Causeway Link bus number 333 to the Senai International Airport. Travelling from Larkin Sentral to Senai International Airport will take about 45 minutes depending on traffic conditions at that time. Tickets are available at the Causeway Link ticket counter at the airport or online.

If you are coming from Singapore, you can take buses from Kranji MRT Station, Queen Street and Newton Circus. You can take a bus from Kranji at a price of SGD 1.00 while if you take a bus on Queen Street, the fare is SGD 3.30. The bus fare from Newton Circus is also SGD 3.30. Take the Causeway Link bus up until to the national border. Get off the bus for customs and immigration checks. Then, get a Causeway Link bus ticket to Senai International Airport for RM 8.00 on Platform 2, JB Sentral.

By Car 

If you come from Johor Bahru city centre or Larkin Sentral by car, you can follow this route suggestion. Take Jalan Tun Abdul Razak/Line 1 from Jln Datin Halimah/J3. Follow Route 1 to Airport Road/Route 16 in Senai. Take Route 16 out of Route 1. Follow the Airport Road/Route 16 to your destination at Senai International Airport.
