We as a family totally enjoyed our stay as the rooms were very spacious, the bed was so comfortable and big, the buffet breakfast was plenty and delicious and last but not least, the staff were very friendly and very efficient. I would recommend for my friends to stay here and location is wonderful. Lots of shopping..

Hatten Hotel Melaka is a four-star hotel located on Hatten Square along Jalan Merdeka, Bandar Hilir Melaka. Considering the location is strategically set right at the centre of main tourist attractions, this makes the navigation process to the hotel much easier. You can either drive, fly or take the public transportation to Melaka like the bus. If you are driving from Kuala Lumpur, the trip to Melaka and the hotel will take around 1 hour and 50 minutes. If you are flying in, you will land at Melaka Airport. From Melaka Airport, you can either take the taxi, a rental car or use the mobile transportation application, Uber/Grab to make your way to the hotel. Hatten Hotel is almost 10 km away from the airport, thus it will take around 30 minutes to arrive. If you are taking the bus, the bus will stop at Melaka Sentral, from there, the trip to the hotel will take around 16 minutes.

As for dining, Hatten Hotel Melaka has three main dining areas and they are Alto Sky Lounge, Chatterz and Coffeevine. These places are where you will find large varieties of food ranging local and international origin.

Alto Sky Lounge is on the 22nd floor of Hatten Hotel Melaka. It sets right below the sky and overseeing the marvellous view of the city and the sea. The setting gives you a comfortable place to enjoy delicious cocktails and wines plus a nice place to enjoy small chats or casual meetings. Its operating hours are 4:00 PM until 12:00 AM from Sunday to Thursday and 4:00 PM until 1:00 AM on eve of public holidays, Friday and Saturday. Be sure to dress formally in this dining area.

Chatterz is on level 11 of the hotel. This dining area is the perfect place to hang around with your friends and family. Itโ€™s an all-day dining restaurant that serves both traditional and contemporary dishes served in both buffet and ala carte varieties. The breakfast session starts at 6:30 AM until 10:30 AM. The all-day dining starts at 11:00 AM until 11:00 PM. There is no dress code for this dining area.

Coffeevine is on the ground floor of the hotel lobby. This place is where you want to stop by to enjoy variety choice of pastries, coffees and sandwiches. Itโ€™s the perfect pitstop to unwind after a long day. Its operating hours are from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM daily.

The hotel room includes the staff & location is really good and easy. Close to historical places. Only room service is slow, we have to call several times.

Let me take you through my experience here at Hatten hotel. Upon checking in, rooms smelled of cigarettes. I had requested for 2 non smoking rooms for my family of 5. Requested for a change of rooms but was told that we will be at different floors as they don't have available rooms side by side. Sofas were dirty as shown in the photos. Curtains were dirty as well. Toilet was not cleaned properly. I was told by the receptionist that this is an old hotel, more than 10 years. On the second day, I had requested for housekeeping at 10am but my rooms were left unattended when I came back to hotel at 4pm. Called housekeeping and they told me I will need to wait as they were still cleaning up level 22. My room was located at level 16. This is absurd and ridiculous. I had to speak to the duty manager only then they assigned a housekeeper to clean my room. Dirty rubbish bags were not cleaned also. I left it outside the room before midnight. It was still there the next day at 3pm. It has a prime location which is easily accessible to dahkota pahlawan mall and other tourist areas. However would not come back again because of the negative experience. Would not recommend this hotel. They pride themselves for a 5 star hotel but the standard is not even close. It is horrible.

While the rooms and amenities available were pleasant, there were no check out statements/receipts issued and later found that there was an UNAUTHORISED charge of MYR51.50 charged to my Card! Still waiting for an explanation. ๐Ÿ˜ก.

Not as I expected in 5 stars hotel. The room smell humid, the food not much variety, the taste is just so so. The staffs quite friendly and helpful. The location is next to Mahkota hospital.

I had a pleasant stay even as first timers. And it 's all thanks to the Concierge team: Raymond and his colleagues who sharing information on good places in Mallaca and also helped us keeping our stuff neat & safe after check out time whilst we were stranded the whole day at next door hospital.

Overall is good. From the receptionist and room services. But wasted lots of time in lift waiting. Not sure what's the problem. People get packed in the lifts. Should provide 1 or 2 staffs in managing the lifts.
