Breakfast a bit simple. Great Location near town area. My room have problem with water pipe. Both shower pipe and toilet pipe are leaking badly. Room no 921. Hope they can fix it

Value for money! Everything was great, upon check in my booking was upgraded to superior room for free. The room is spacious, even more for toilet with separate bathtub and shower cubicle. The water pressure is alright. Not great but not so bad either. I didn't get a chance to try out their pool and fitness centre so cant comment on those. Check in and check out was brief. One thing that could be improved is their breakfast service. The dining hall was quite hot, either the a/c was broken or they're trying to cut the budget by turning it off. Food selection is quite limited (not too bad) and they tasted ok! Sambal nasi lemak and the anchovies were too damn salty, should reduce the salt! No egg station tho they served the omelette. Overall not too bad considering for what i've paid. I would say value for money.

During check-in, the receptionist is not so friendly and have to wait for almost 30 min due to the room not ready yet. However, the problem solve by the other staff who can adjust the check-in process to cater my need and time.

stained bedsheet. extremely bad breakfast experience. half of the choices not refilled as early as 8am, but I was told that breakfast is from 7-10. small swimming pool, gym room closed. otherwise, staff at the reception is good. 3star room, 1star food, 4star service, 1star facility.

Love the room. Love the view. Love the location.staff was friendly. Great place for kids. My sons enjoyed the bath tub and enjoyed the garden walk just opposite the hotel. But breakfast was bad. Worst than expected. Went down at 8. 30 am. Did not even have basic toasts.

Great hotel. But because of the bar downstairs so we met several drunk people in the lift. So scary.

Unfriendly hotel and unprofessional front office service
Booked a 2 room apartment through Expedia for 2 nights stay. The apartment is not only furnished with any kitchen utensils but complimentary coffees or teas making is not provided. So this is a unexpected inconvenience. Due to some unforseen circumstances, we have a urgent change of plans that can only stay a night. So we check out the next day and request to cancel the 2nd night. The front office staff could not understand our request for refund or credit note for returning to stay on another day. We had to ask for the hotel manager. Then a gentleman attended to us but informed that they cannot cancel the 2nd night stay or give us a credit note as we booked through Expedia. If any refund or credit note we need to request from Expedia. Okay, we are fine on that. Then the cashier asked us to pay for the night stay. So I said I booked through Expedia and payment should have been made. She said her record shows it is not paid. So we were had to pay for the night we stayed. We thought that this is fine since we wanted to saty a night and this worked out fine for us. It turned out later in the day they had made a mistake to charge for the room! We have to call up Expedia on the matter. It turned out that Expedia is very understandable on our position and willing to help. Expedia called the hotel and the hotel refused to refund or give a credit note for the night we did not stay. So seemed like it is the hotel insisting to charge for the night we did not stay although the hotel manager claimed that Expedia is the party to decide whether to refund or credit note. So it appears that this hotel is unfriendly and unprofessional. If we are charged for a no show we can understand but early cancellation of room has been given. We would not consider staying in this hotel again.

Dirty hotel
Visited Perak for business trip. The first time entering the room after 3 hours drive from KL, straight away went to Toilet. Very disgusted with the smell of urine and stain of urine on the toilet seat...worst than stain but looked like someone pee and never aim right. Hotel is proven never cleaned properly.

Nice Maintain & Delicious Shun Tak Food
2nd time stayed at Kinta Riverfront Hotel, the hotel room is well maintain in good condition, good service, coffee house foods are more tasty and variety. It is amazing, Zui Xin Lao Seafood Restaurant with really China Sun Tak food. It is really delicious.

Basic boring and dreadful broadband
Although it has a glitzy lobby the rooms are basic could-be-anywhere motel type. Very clean and excellent service of rooms. But billing itself as a business hotel is way out of line. The broadband was virtually non existent and the business suites non functioning. Breakfast very slow if needing to head out and restaurant did look a bit tacky....broken blinds etc It is not near anything and so will need a taxi to go into town....a nightmare getting back as available taxis thin on the ground on the streets The swimming pool and gym small and full of non-guest club members

Cheap and cheerful
Spent a night in one of the apartments. It's quite a distance to walk from the lobby where you check in, and the decor is a far cry from the traveler photos you see on this website, which I'm assuming are mostly of the hotel. The apartments have the look and feel of a condominium unit. The balcony faces the river, the lighting is stark and white. Why I've given a poor cleanliness rating is that there is a lot of trash in the space between the apartments when you emerge from the yard area next to the kitchen. Generally the interiors are clean, but the finishings are in poor condition, showing immense wear and tear. There is also likelihood to hear noise from along the corridor as the walls are thin. The fridge and TV is in good working order and there was complimentary water and coffee & tea. There are far too few cutlery and toiletries for the group that it was supposed to accommodate, but we didn't have time to request for more as our time there was short. The common space and master bedroom is nice and large, but the one common bathroom and 2 bedrooms are too tight and claustrophobic. It is quite good value for money for a large group to get together there. Just manage your expectations.
