Selayang is a town located in the Gombak district, Selangor. Batu Caves temple is a Hindu temple consisted of three big, 400 million years old limestone caves. There is a total of 272 steps of staircase leading up to the main cave temple entrance. The world’s tallest Lord Muruga statue with the height of 42.7 metres is also located here which attracted the crowd especially during the Thaipusam festival celebrated annually.
