Super disappointed!!!
Had a group of 9 of us. Two families which had 3 kids and 2 kids. We asked for two rooms. They agreed although the rooms were suitable for 3 single beds. That wasn't a problem as we joined the three beds however they tried to charge us 200 ringets per adult and 100 per child extra although all we were getting was a towel, water bottle and breakfast (15 ringets if you pay). There was no logic. Regularly they only put in three bottles and towels instead of 4 and 5 respectively. When I spoke to reception - on two occasions - the response was a very rude "why didn't you tell me earlier". The second time this happened I put the front office in their place and made them get the water. I complained to the seri pacific management through email. No surprise that I didn't receive a response. I've heard the Seri Pacific on Redang is excellent and managed well however Lang Tengahs management had zero care for customers and no real clue on how to run a resort. It's a shame as the beach was amazing and I still managed to have an good time in Lang Tengah but no thanks to this resort. Food was very average if not poor and we ended up going to other places outside most of the time. Would never go back unless management completely changed. I'm not expecting a response from management to this post either. Good luck to anyone who decides to stay.

Stunning Island, average hotel
Just returned from a fantastic 4 days away on this beautiful island. Lang Tengah is truly stunning with crystal blue waters & white sandy beaches. It is great for snorkelling and was wonderful to be able to see such an array of fish just off the beach. My young children loved playing in the sea and once the tide went out, it was shallow enough to have great fun. Despite being full it was so quiet so extremely relaxing. The hotel to be honest if very basic. I would imagine that it used to be very quaint but does not seem to have been properly maintained over the years. We stayed in a basic triple room and had to switch rooms initially as the state of the bathroom was atrocious. Our second room however was clean. The staff are friendly and always wanted to help us. I believe that the hotel is recently under new management. I hope that they spend the money and time to redevelop this hotel and help it realise it's potential. From the rooms I saw the bathrooms need replacing and updating. The walls need replastering & repainting. The wood needs a new paint & varnish. The restaurant had broken panels, chipped crockery, damaged chairs which all need replacing. The area around the budget rooms needs a major tidy & clean up. Something needs to be done with the broken green panels that have fallen down separating a work yard. If the new management reads this, please put towel rails in your bathrooms. With 4 people we had nowhere to hang our towels after use. The food was ok, could do with a variety as it did seem to be the same each night. On the Saturday they did a BBQ which was really tasty. Despite all of this, the island is so inviting that we spent little time in our rooms so it did not deter us from having a fantastic break. Lang Tengah is definitely an island worth visiting!

Wonderful place
The island of lang tengah its wonderful, with a lot of species of animals and fishes you will pass your days in a beautiful beach surrounded by pure nature. The sari pacifica its ok, nothing special but the rooms were comfortable, maybe just the restroom were a little bit old stylish. The food its good but they have same stuff almost every day and its comprehensible living in an island like that. The staff were very friendly. I might have been lucky cause i went in the early september and it was almost empty so i could enjoy snorkeling and quiet environment.

Nice family trip to Lang Tengah
I booked a pool villa for 5D4N thru travel website which was eventually becoming quite expensive with the hidden cost once I confirmed my booking with the Sari Pacifica Resort and Spa management office. However, the staff is kind enough to change our rate in full board package for the family of 5 with handsome discount. The journey from Merang Jetty was quite pleasant and we were welcome with friendly and helpful staff. The overall decor of the Resort felt like it was something traditional. The villa is looking a little bit old but clean. Many of tourists complained about the hotel furniture is old, but for me is still acceptable. The beach was picture perfect. You can snorkel in the ocean in front of the resort without the need to go elsewhere. The only thing that disappoints me is the coral is dying. Some of the most amazing corals have been blighted by bleaching. However, we could swim with baby black tip sharks and a group of small fish swimming near surface. It was a very picturesque beach and jetty. The resort was all lit up with colourful lights and looked very pretty at night. Being Malaysian, I found the food to be very decent albeit the choice was limited. The chef took time to plan the menu. It showed in his efforts to serve festive dishes like Ketupat Palas and Rendang during the Eid Al-Adha. The staff of the restaurant is really nice, and always ready to help. Compare to Summer Bay Resort, here much quieter, so can be more relaxed. I and my family had so much fun during our stay and we look forward to visit again in the future.

3 star hotel on a 7 star beach
Basic hotel with very very basic room. Nothing to shout about as the bathroom/ toilet was not up to standard. However we were forgiving as the beach & corals were awesome. Hardly spent time in the room so the lack of amenities e.g. Cupboards, plug points, poor maintenance didn't bother us much. The double pluses were the spectacular view & amazing marine life found right at the beach.. No need to take a boat out. The corals are accessible from the beach.. Food was quite expensive as choices are limited to 2 resorts. Bring your own liquor & food if you're on a budget. Most of the time, the beach was ours to enjoy. Hardly anyone as we stayed on a weekday. Was told that weekends can be very busy. Activities consist of snorkelling, diving, kayaking. Though the resort also offered night snorkelling for a different experience of seeing squids, eels & other nocturnal sea creatures.. Overall, an amazing island. Catch it before the corals start vanishing.
