- Business travel
Eventhough it was just a 1 night stay but it was affordable and the comfortable.
- Romantic Vacation
Walking distance to KL Nu Sentral so you can go by bus, monorail, MRT with ease. The staff are very helpful to my request, though, they don't clean your room and change towels if you don't ask. The surrounding area might not be very safe, one Grabber told me that, so you might be careful to walk at night.
- Business travel
The room was cheap (double bed), at least compared to the other options on the web (RM70-ish for a night). First impression was that it's clean, then comes the flimsy bathroom door where people could peek in, and not very generous amount of hanger (1) which aren't too big of a problem. The worst part would be that there's only one plug, badly situated (right behind a small table, below it) and risks damaging whatever appliances you're using as there's spark coming out from it, the on/off switch was kind of flimsy too. Another one. I called in the morning to inform them that I wouldn't be able to arrive in time, my friend (staying with me) would help check in on behalf, staff was friendly enough to assist me with the usual protocol, gave them all the details needed to let my friend check in first. Then. Friend still had to wait 2 hours (arrived a bit after check in time started, where rooms should already be ready). Better don't go around moving the bed, as it isn't as clean as the "outside", that plus, cigarette stains at the sides of the sheets. All in all, good price, "good enough" place, if and only if, you're gonna be out for a long time, and here is just for sleeps. Not being able to charge any of our appliances was a big let down.
- Business travel
It took an hour for the receptionist to confirm our booking. Very inefficient.
- Backpacking
When check in to the room, the room is still not in good condition. The bedroom has been used by someone else and do not clean after they check out.
nice room and clean. staff friendly

Enjoyed my stay and would stay there again!
I ended up having to stay in KL for longer than expected and spent over a month in the Sunn Inns Hotel Sentral in Brickfields and I loved it. I had a room with a window which overlooked the streets of Little India. It was great. It's walking distance to the big mall and the train stations. The staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi was great and my little room had a desk where I could do work. My room also had its own air-con unit which was a saving grace in the hot Malaysian climate, the bed was super comfortable and I could get fresh towels whenever I wanted. The bathroom was clean and neat. I really enjoyed my time here, and next time I go to KL I will stay here again for sure.

Took a double deluxe room with window. Rokm is clean and bathroom is clean. Only thing missing is a kettle. There are no eateries in the area at night and no convenient store. However, the hotel is near central train station. Good for a night stay or if you just want few hours of sleep before catching the train to the airport. Staffs are friendly.

Decent place
Just for the night stay, this place was good value for money. The rooms had clean bathroom and toilet. Clean sheets. Good breakfast with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. It had all the basic things needed for an overnight stay.

Horrible hotel!
Where did u see a room without a window with an ashtray on the table? It mean u can smoke in the room!!! And somebody definitely did! I couldn't sleep, woke up every 30 minutes cz of lack of fresh air! It smelled smoke! We only stayed here cz we need to fly early in morning, so stayed close to bus station! We stayed in the city for the same money! With big room, ironing board, three towels per person, toiletries! Including toothbrush! Here u will find only half of roll of wet toilet paper. When we checked in the floor in the washroom was wet, like someone showered there 20 minutes ago! Walls are dirty, mattresses are dirty! Towels look like there were used for ages. Horrible place where you want to fall asleep and never wake up! Don't ever stay here!

They HOLD my passport.
Jan 22, 2017 I went to Sun Inns Hotel Sentral, Brickfields in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The deal price in the booking.com is 69 MYR which is exclude 10% service charges and 6% taxes. At first, the receptionist did not say anything about the charge and push a receipt for me to sign at the price around 109 MYR. Apart from 10 and 6 percent charge, there was also Deposit charge for 20 MYR which in the deal said that they would be no charge. I was quite confused with the accent of the receptionist, we had some miscommunications, then I decided to cancel the deal. However, she did not comply and said that she already registered it in the system while I hadn't paid or signed anything. So, I decided to cancel it in the Booking.com application and walked out from the hotel, but I forgot my passport that I gave to her to check the booking. That was when the problem occurred. When I went back to the hotel around 3-4 p.m., she told me to wait for a long time, and then said she gave it to her manager after I asked her again, so that she couldn't bring it to me. She said she did not have any contacts, email, phone number of her manager. First, she said I had to come again at 3 a.m., her manager would be here. After talked for awhile, she said I had to come here after 8 p.m. She changed the time without contacting or calling anyone. I conformed here and come back at late night around 11 p.m. I met with another receptionist. He said I have to wait for 9 a.m. for his manager, and after I begged him for awhile to contact the manager for me. I waited around 5 minutes and talked to him again. He took my passport out and gave it to me. However, in that time, He did not call or also contact anyone. Also, he did not walked out from his dress which means the passport was always there. They were holding my passport which is a really bad crime in Malaysia.
