What Guests Say About Their Stay

Great place, warm staffs. There was a thunderstorm in the evening during my stay that caused blackout. Staffs did a good effort - instantly informing current situation, providing a torch. They gave complimentary breakfast the next morning that I would say as 'PR' strategy maybe due to what had happened the night before 😊. Would like to suggest if the host could provide mini refrigerator and add extra lock inside the room for extra safety.

Absolutely amazing!! We stayed in river lodge and everything is perfectly fine as photo shown on the apps. The large spacious glass dining area are so remarkable! The eco-friendly and tropical forest surrounding is really good for travellers who look for wellness and quietness. Inside the park provides you easy trail to waterfall and hanging wooden bridge so you don’t need to plan so much. I will definitely stay in river lodge again among all the other chalets choices

We stayed for 3 nights recently. We were very happy with the room (though it was extremely close to the entrance to the park, so noisy). The restaurant was a let-down - many of the menu items were unavailable, and the cleanliness of the plates, cutlery and tables left a lot to be desired. Considering the prices in the restaurant, this was a real disappointment. n option worth considering is to eat in one of the many local restaurants just outside the gates.

Online confirm bed type provide in bunk bed but end up with 2 single bed. Then the hotel personnel tell you their system did not know about the bunk bed requirements. I was, huh??? It’s hotel.com problem that what show was not able to communicate to hotel operators??? And, the room illustration please reflect the truth. The photo is MISLEADING! The room and bed look spacious and ok but in actual, it’s quite limited space. Pls be remember that the hotel location vs the price, it shld have being a spacious one with this kind of price.

Clean and fresh hotel located right inside Poring Hot Springs National Park - you have to buy entrance ticket to access the hotel by car. Quiet at night. The staff was polite and helpful. There is a hole under the front door which a bit scared us at the check-in, however we had absolutely no issues with mosquitoes at night. Wi-Fi was only working at the lobby, no Wi-Fi in the room. Breakfast was nice. There are several places to eat in the village additionally to the resort's restaurant.

I stayed here at Palm Villa with family for two nights. After read review from guest reviewed, we decided to book this resort. My first impression were right same like others. Since we arrived late, we were directed to the villa. Check in process done in the room very smooth and quick. Resort location just beside the one of main attraction, Poring Hot Spring. We spend half day here but cannot fully explore the area. The villa is very huge. Feel like staying at home. It also clean and well maintain. Breakfast service provided at Rain Forest restaurant. I recommend you to try their Nasi Lemak. I had asked the resort to prepare a room decoration for our wedding anniversary and to surprise my wife. The resort staff Sue, Siandim, Saleha and Sahidah had done very good job. Thanks a lot for making our memorable day. Overall, even it a little bit pricey, you will not regret it. The facilties, service and cleanliness is tip top.

Highly highly recommend. Excellent location - close to two waterfalls and an amazing 3.4km trail to a huge waterfall. Beware leeches on the trail! Other than that it was breathtaking. The hot springs are literally right next to the rooms. There are many local eateries just right outside the property which makes things easy. Sabah tea plantation is less than half an hour away as well. We stayed at the palm Villa and it is truly beautiful. It is situated atop a hill right by the jungle. The rooms are beautifully designed. You get three bedrooms with queen/King beds, 3 showers and one extra non shower bathroom. The kitchen is basic. Don't expect enough utensils and associated items for cooking. Rooms are very clean, atmosphere of the place is tranquil and serene. Do not expect wifi here! Only wifi available is in the main concierge. Staff are friendly throughout our stay and very accommodating. The in house restaurant is basic, serves regular Western and asian style breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend the palm Villa for bigger families. Wonderful holiday and time spent here.

We stayed in the jungle lodge this time. We arrived with a motorcycle and had it parked right next to our door. The room is very spacious consisting of a living room, bedroom, a covered outdoor bath tub and a toilet with shower. Although we stayed here for only one night, we enjoyed the quietness and explored a little bit of the nature around the lodge including the canopy walk, bat cave and waterfall. Would highly recommend a stay if you want to relax and see a little bit more after hiking Mount Kinabalu.

What a great hotel! We stayed in the Jungle Lodge room which was more like a suite, with it's separate living area, outdoor bath tub suitable for 2 adults and king size bed with superior linen. Well worth a visit, but the springs were a little disappointing, I would recommend going early as it get very busy especially on Mondays.
