These villas are not located at Pantai Cenang - Location is incorrect
This hotel is actually called Villa DEL Porto and it is not located at Pantai Cenang and it is actually quite far from there and most shops and cafes etc - its a bit isolated and is not walking distance, even to Tengah - you would need to have a car or motorbike. It is located at Teluk Baru near the jetty at Awana Port at the bottom south west tip of the island. I can't comment on the place at all - just noticed that the location is very wrong and the name is not correct either

BCS (Beautiful, Clean & Spacious)
The entire property consist of only 6 villas, a pool and a parking lot. The environment of the villa is very quiet and relaxing, surrounded trees and with a breathtaking view of the open sea at the balcony, it will surely be a paradise for those who enjoy being close to nature and the quiet and clam surrounding. In a group of 8, my friends and I stayed at Villa Del Porto for 3D2N. We manage to get a great deal from Groupons.com which allows us to stay at such wonderful villa at a much lower rate. Prior to our arrival, we were sent a "welcome package" to brief us on what to expect and prepare for the stay at the villa. We manage to get to the villa quite easily with the help of a friend which is very familiar with the roads of Langkawi. To gain access to the villa, guest need to drive up a road which leads them to the parking lot of the villa. Thus, car rental is a must, which in Langkawi is very cheap, if you plan to stay at the villa. From the parking lot, we must walk a flight of stairs to go to their respective villas. Our arrival at the villa was greeted by a friendly manager, Mr Izzat. He guided us to our villa and briefed us on what to do and what not to do in the villa and things that we must take note (despite all of this was given via the "welcome pack", the act of him giving us the simple yet precise briefing meant a lot to us) There are three rooms in the villa and three bathrooms (2 which is connected to the rooms and 1 which is not). All the rooms and bathroom facilities are very clean and neat. AC was functioning well and there are no obvious odor in the villa (except for a slight smell of aerosol pesticide in some parts of the villa). A balcony was also available in which provides a spectacular view of the open sea as well as a nearby jeti. Only problem with the villa is ants. Any food left unattended for hours will attract arrivals of ants, black ants to be exact (which is pretty harmless and can be easily avoided by keeping clean). As stated in their official website, housekeeping services will not be provided throughout the entire stay in the villa. BBQ services are available which we need to pay RM100 for setting-up and cleaning of the BBQ station (all done by the management, which is very low in price if you ask me). There is also a gate at the bottom of the hill, which guest needs to open manually to enter and exit the villa. Problem is that there are times where the gate is "heavily guarded" by monkeys (physical contact with monkeys are to be avoided, so there is one time we need to wait for 10 minutes in our car to wait for the monkeys to disperse before opening the gate) All in all, the experience is very enjoyable, and none of my friends complained about the villa (except walking up and down the stairs, which might be a challenge for some)

Think of it as your stay in the jungle
And if you love being for yourselves, amongst monkeys, squirrils, hornbill and much more - with a breathtaking view added on, this is the perfect place. On top of this is a small, spotless pool with a nice deck for you and your children to play and relax in, while eagles hover above you and svallows quench their thirst in the pool. And despite this you are only 5-10 minutes away from the Cenang beach and all the restaurants - if you have a car. And a car you must have and rental of a locally made Myvi (Toyota Passo) is only 80rm/day. It is not an easy place to access, but you are warned when you book the place. The owner will send you 6 pages with what is included and what is not. There is also a warning that this is on a hillside so there is a lot of walking up and down stairs - that are lit at night. There was 2 liter water, toast bread, strawberry jam and coffee/tea, so you can make "breakfast" the first morning, but I suggest you bring your own breakfast favourites with you. We did not have any problem with plumbing, A/C and the rooms were clean when we arrived and someone had left mozziespray too, but keep the doors closed in the evening. I have not rated service as this is non-existing (as in a hotel)

Beautiful location and views, and courtesy. That is all.
If it were not for the following, I would give this an 'Excellent', as the location is great with breathtaking views, the huts are charming, and there's a nice clean pool (albeit shallow), and the people are nice (when they are around). Firstly, my toilet had a lingering excrement aroma in it, emanating from the plumbing I should think - I had to change rooms. The place desperately needs maintenance. Window frames reinforced with duct tape does not inspire confidence, nor aesthetic pleasure. The internet is slow and has been down for a whole day of our stay, so far. There is also rubbish around the grounds, and around the huts, which looks like it hasn't been picked up in ages/ever. The shower had no Cold/Hot signs (ripped off the knobs and not replaced) and the toilet did not properly flush. Great balcony/terrace with an amazing view. We were 5, but only got given 1 set of keys (problematic). 2 sets of towels for our week long stay and no cleaning service that I know of. The curtains are dusty and in a state of ill-repair. In summation: bitter-sweet. Pillows and bedding on the cheap/old side.

Very nice place, however!
This is a wonderful classical hut-type forest-immersed villa with a spectacular sea view and a nice water fun pool. However it needs: 1) Maintenance 2) Cleaning (inside and out) 3) Sealing all the doors, windows and floor gaps 4) Toilets renovation 5) Plumping smell traps 6) Guest luggage assistance as there's quite a bit of going up and down. The compound manger, Mr. Hazani, is very nice and helping gentleman; I'm so thankful for him for his professional welcoming attitude.
