I had a great stay at the Colibri Hotel. The location is ideal—it is right at the entrance of Tepoztlán, which makes getting in and out by car super easy without getting stuck in the heavy town traffic. It is still close enough to easily walk into town to explore.
The hotel itself is spacious, clean, and has a very inviting atmosphere. While the decor is a little outdated, the overall experience was excellent. The best part was the extraordinary staff; they were always attentive and made us feel right at home. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Llegamos al hotel a las 11:30 y nos cobraron 500 pesos por dejar nuestras cosas y cambiarnos y la habitación ya la tenían lista, no hay baños que no sean los de las habitaciones, la persona que nos atendió nos dijo que era un B&B, breakfast & bed y ni cafe nos dieron en la mañana.

the room i was offered was different it was in a basement with no windows and there was no option of changing, i couldn’t sleep in it, so i had t pay for a second hotel

Very clean and attentive staff. I didn’t like the fact that I had to leave my room key every time we left the hotel and ring a bell to be let back in. Woman told us we couldn’t arrive later than 12:30 am.

Just at the entrance/exit of town, this is a GREAT place to stay in Tepoztlan. The water (directly from Mountain Tepozteco to your room) really feels different!! This hotel is a must.

Just out of the hubbub, but close enough to walk to everything, a beautiful walled garden, wonderful, responsive, friendly staff. A bit pricey for what it is, and the breakfast is just pastry and coffee, but otherwise great.
