It is an older hotel, with loads of charm. The rooms are up to date and the beds were comfortable. The history was fascinating. The staff was very friendly, enjoyed spa treatments very much.

Not really a 5-star hotel, neither in service nor in amenities. Located in nice location but came with a drawback that’s noise at night. Staffs were nice and friendly but barely understood English. The traffic noise, police sirens and people and music sounds in the street gets really loud as you approach the mid-night and it got really hard to fall asleep. It’s sad that they didn’t know what a vegan food is. No options for vegans at breakfast buffet except for fruits and black coffee. We couldn’t find any good vegetarian food for me and vegan food for my wife. We asked if Tamales was vegetarian, asked if “contiene leche o no? Contiene carne o no?” They answered no multiple times and I took one but halfway after eating we found cheese stuffed in the Tamales. How ignorant of them that they couldn’t tell if cheese was milk or non-vegan. They offered a vegan item from the menu, we thought that’s complementary instead of buffet meal and ordered it. But later they made us pay for it. We weren’t even told that it would cost extra for that one item. They couldn’t really adjust one vegan meal since we literally had nothing to eat there in buffet.. they made a huge deal by talking to bunch of staffs there and still couldn’t get that for free. We paid the same money as meat-eating customers but they charged us double for a breakfast. Extra for a little bit of almond milk. I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone who’s vegetarian and vegan and anyone who likes to sleep in peace.

Room was clean and hotel located in a great spot.

The water was brown in the shower and dirty panties fell out of the bottom half of the "freshly" made bed. Disgusting.

The hotel is located in a very lively area, with many restaurants and shops nearby, which adds great value to the stay. In addition, the hotel is beautiful, and its historic décor is truly unmatched.

Great place to stay! On Saturday the street outside got a little loud, but that calmed down by the next day, and a small price to pay for a great location!

As a historic property I did not expect to see new amenities. The TV did not even have signal. I only stay one night for the experience. Even though this hotel is rich in history, I cannot say much about the services. Would I stay here again? I am not sure. The location is good.

The room was very neglected; the towels and bedding were torn. For a hotel of this price, the room amenities should be much better.

The hotel is okay, but the location is pretty loud. feels like it's near the nightclub, and we didn't get much sleep for the 3 nights we stayed there.

I requested for a quite room and my room was very quiet, excellent for sleeping. It is an old building, however mechanically everythings worked fine. Staffs are very friendly and professional.

The hotel is amazingly located, with gorgeous common spaces. The basic room had extremely high ceilings, great water pressure, and comfy clean bed and sheets. The towels are worn, but they will gladly bring you plenty more, and there’s a daily water bottle included. For $88/night or so, we have no complaints Is this a 5 star hotel? No But is it a great hotel with amazing history?! For sure!

Excelente vintage hotel. Lots of old time memorabilia, huge rooms, restaurants bars and excellent service. Very clean. Great location for everything; restaurants bars shopping transportation and safe.

More than a hotel, it is a museum! lots of antiques and the architecture is amazing, considering how old it is it has has kept very well. Attentive stuff. Make sure to go around the corner to the Insurgents

I had a wonderful stay at Geneve. It is a beautiful, historical hotel with a small display that is worth visiting, two good restaurants, a cute bar, and unparalleled location. The staff is very acknowledgeable and welcoming, and special thanks to Carlos, who was beyond kind; it is a true joy when people share their love for their job. Will definitely come back.
