If you are looking for a place to chill, relax and have fun, you must come here! All the staff were really friendly (Adan, Eva, Adrian) the food in the breakfast was really nice and the best is that the hotel has a club beach so you can relax near the sea! I'll back :)

These rooms are amazing! So comfortable, quiet and a very short walk to the beach. I wish we would’ve had more time here. The lady at the front desk (Eva, I believe) was amazing, nice and very knowledgeable. The breakfast was great and they made it to-go for us since we were leaving early the next morning.

Property is cute, one pool was out of service so the other one was packed. Construction was going on right next to the beach to relaxing on the property was almost impossible. Other than that great property

Loved this place, stayed for 2 nights but wish we could have stayed a week. Breakfast was very good and had good option for vegans with some subs. Staff was friendly and well maintained pool and beach area. Loved it!

The property is quaint and in a great location, beach is amazing and an easy walk to town and fun walk to punta mosquito. The rooms are almost identical to Blue Holbox (non beach front rooms). The hot water for showering was non-existent though, possibly two days out of seven where we had warm water for a brief period of time. Included breakfast menu and food was just ok, we found it strange that we would tip the wait staff, however, getting more than one cup of coffee was almost impossible and many times the wait staff seemed to ignore us when we requested more coffee. We ordered a couple of drinks from the bar service, prices were ok but the waiters do not serve on the beach. There also is a bar advertised at the adult only pool but it appears has not been in use in quite some time. Street noise can be pretty loud at night from the ATVs. Front desk staff (Adam) was great and always aimed to please and provide suggestions. We rented bikes from the front desk for a day and it was very easy and prices were similiar to in town prices. The cleaning guy was great, so kind and very appreciative of tips. Beach staff always set up chairs very nicely and kept the beach area clean. Wifi is only available near the front desk but the property makes that very clear and so it was not an issue. There are several well loved cats on the property which were fun to interact with. Overall, the property is average for what you get in Holbox and I would likely consider returning.

The staff was awesome, they could not have been nicer or more helpful. The accommodations were great, the kid friendly pool was a big hit and the staff was top notch.

Nice small hotel next to the beach. Quiet area. Food is meh and takes forever. No internet in the rooms.

The space was perfect and beautiful for our family stay. Breakfast included was delicious. We thought it was a continental type breakfast but no. This is a full cooked to order meal. Staff was great, they went out of their way to help us. The beach access is great and the pool is nice too.

We stayed here during the hurricane. Our trip was cut short because of it. We loved our two nights there the hotel helped arrange the transportation to make it so easy getting there. When the hurricane caused the island to evacuate Eva was an absolute all star. Calm and cool and went so outta her way to make sure everyone was taken care of. She truly cared and gave all she could to help. I can’t wait to go back again and have a longer stay the place is beautiful and walkable to everything and the stay was the best.

Our only complaint was the air conditioning wasn’t very strong. We loved this hotel. Access to the beach and restaurants was incredible. The staff were amazingly accommodating and helpful. On our last day the island was being evacuated ahead of a hurricane, but the staff continued to go above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I would highly recommend.

This was perfect for a small family. We had a room off the pool. Was perfect for my son. He loved that. Very close to the beach and the breakfast was really good. Close walk to restaurants

Our family of 4 had a wonderful and relaxing time on Holbox. The staff at Xaloc were always courteous and attentive, while giving us the space to relax. Our cabana was comfortable and was kept clean. We loved having a cabana by the family pool side 5min walk to many restaurants.Hotel breakfast was great! Fruit and pan dulce with coffee and juice, followed by a selection from a diverse and filling breakfast menu which is included with the stay. They didn't run out of any food items during our stay. The last 3 days we ate lunch at the hotel too, well priced and delicious, with service on the beach, poolside, room or in restaurant. As a note to set expectations, the loungers with umbrellas are only on the land side of the road, so if you want shade you have to deal with the steady flow of golf cars driving in front of you. The adjacent hotels all offer shaded loungers on the ocean side of the road. General comment about Holbox, there are waaay too many golf cars. People rent them or taxi instead of walking. In early April, the sargasso was really bad. They do what they can to clear it, but there's a lot of it. People on Holbox are trustworthy, which is a shocking contrast with the Cancun airport pirhannas. Book a shuttle from the airport to Chiquila for 350 pesos pp (sounds too good to be true but it works and is comfortable), or take the ADO bus (similar cost and comfort). Taxi will change you $392 USD to Chiquila. We loved our stay and all the restaurants we got to dine at.

Everything was absolutely amazing! Beautiful huts as rooms. Only thing I will mention is the water for the pool is insanely cold. Hence, it was empty most of the time.

the property met expectations. Management lead by Eva was most helpfull. By the way, she organized private transport back to Cancun airport. Excellent service at a very reasonable price. Big plus for us. congratulations Eva for the team you lead including receiptionist Adam.

The overall stay was average. The bungalow was clean throughout the stay and the included breakfast was good. There was no one at the poolside bar during the stay. Due to storms, the beach was covered in seaweed, which was only cleaned on day 3/3 for us. Overall the stay was fine but my hopes were higher for what we paid to stay (~200USD per night).
