Hotel Casa Hipil

Room was in mostly good shape. But AC turned off on its own in the middle of the night. This was a problem because there was a dog somewhere nearby that was barking all.night.long. Then, in the morning, someone was chiseling or jackhammering by 7AM. The staff was excellent and very helpful. I needed help replacing a battery in my rental cars key fob. And they helped find someone who drove to me, and replaced it on the spot. The parking is very tight in their lot. We did not swim. So idk how nice that was.

Basic hotel that is well located within valladolid. Given the price though, there are other more competitive options.

Nice place close to the main square with a parking option behind the hotel. Served the purpose and the beds were very comfortable. We left early so they prepared a lunch box for us which was simple but delicious and came handy while driving to our next stop. I would go again!

It was pretty good in general. Location is close to the main plaza. Only small points to improve: shower head was clogged with mineral build up and the parking lot is an empty, unsupervised dark empty lot half a block away. This could have been better communicated.

The hotel and staff were nice, but I felt it was overpriced. There's nothing negative about the hotel itself

We loved our two nights here in Feb 2024. We would have liked to stay longer but they wanted to charge us their regular rate so we had to move. We booked deluxe superior rooms which had a king and double bunk beds. Each room has a double bathroom and a small fridge. The tiny pool was perfect for a quick dip to cool off. We would highly recommend this hotel.

It started out good. Found the reservation and was about to pay when the price I has booked on Hotels.com was $1100 pesos less than the price they wanted, not an issue they accepted my price, I paid and then it started. The Superior room, garden view etc. suddenly was not available, water damage from the roof (they are in a drought) so we needed to stay in a room attached to the lobby which was an old storage room with no windows right on a very busy street. We refused and after while were offered a room in a sister hotel down the street. we agreed but wanted to see the room first, no problem but it was being cleaned and we would have to wait. we agreed and after 45 minutes it turned out the room Was clean and we could look at it but not occupy because previous guest had left something in the safe and was coming back in 2 hours. Really ?? it was now getting dark. this room was facing the same noisy street, had a window that couldn't be opened and was definitely not a Superior room. Old tired bathroom at the end of the complex where wi-fi didn't work. It was now getting dark and we didn't have any other options. They were very nice and polite but were clearly pulling a scam. it was several weeks ago and I'm still not happy. A partial refund at least was in order. The Hotels.com discount was to me the start of the problem as there was no mention of a problem with the Superior room until then. Beware and read reviews about being stuck in the broom closet next to the lobby.

We loved our stay so much. The breakfast was delicious. The whole place was very relaxing. Our room was enormous and beautiful. We really loved it here

Friendly, clean, convenient

This is a warm friendly wonderful place to stay with a great location in Valladolid. It’s a great base lol cation for Chichen Itzá and Río Lagartos. Staff were friendly and helpful, everything was clean and lively. I highly recommend

Good location, but it is more like a bed and breakfast. Think of it as a clean place to sleep. We stayed one night and the staff thought we wouldn’t need towels because we are staying one night only.

Very small breakfast and only cold shower, non of these was expected and receptionist did not care at all :)

Very nice hotel, very convenient to reach the main square of Valladolid. Bianca, one of the receptionist, has been very professional to suggest us the best areas to visit and some good places for drinks and dinner

Had the best time! Hotel was so nice and the staff were all amazing and friendly. Courtyard was beautiful and so chill to hang out in the evening

Very nice place. Close to every thing. Parking was tricky.
