Excellent food. Very kind staff group. Will come back again. River side its beautiful clean and so close to Mother Nature

El check in tomó una hora o más porque decían que no les aparecía el pago, la recepcionista decía que no había gerente para que me resolviera, le mostré el email que me llegó después que realice el pago en el Sistema de pago que ellos piden, le mostré la transacción en mi banca móvil , les di número de transacción y autorización y aún así decían que ellos no tenían ningún pago de ese día,quería que volviera pagar y después si les aparecía el pago me lo devolvían, después me sale con que según ella a la contadora no le aparecía ningún pago ese día, le Digo pues no puede ser porque a mí el Banco me hizo el cargo, después de esa hora mágicamente apareció el gerente ( allí se encontraba) a quien le volví a mostrar todo y después de según volver a revisar si le aparecía la transacción pero a nombre de mi esposo,cuando según no tenían ninguna transacción de ese día, después cuando quise pagar el almuerzo pues no era el precio que me habían dicho por teléfono igual lo pagué y resulta que cuando me dan a firmar el baucher en el restaurante era por el precio que me dijeron por teléfono y no lo que yo pagué, en la habitación cuando quise bañarme no salió agua caliente, es decir tuve una muy mala experiencia. Deberían de capacitar a su personal para que no tengan tantas contradicciones y sepan buscar la información.Definitivamente no lo recomiendo.

We enjoyed the swimming pool and the jet tub,

Beautiful and quiet location with delicious included american breakfast (especially the huevos rancheros). Friendly staff, nice pool, nice river, plenty of wild animals. Well worth the price. The only downside is the bar : the staff was not friendly and there was no wifi in this area.

Beautiful place, very peaceful

The hotel is on a large clear pool of the river that runs through Agua Azul and would be fantastic for bathing during the warm months. It is a very pretty setting. The rooms are a bit outdated but very comfortable, and the staff was VERY attentive.

Pros: Great location with a river running through the property. Very quiet. Cons: Rooms are dated, specially the bathrooms and restaurants. The water pressure made it really tough for one to shower. The river is nice, but it has public beach which gets crowded.

First room we were giving have ants and the expected us to sleep in a room with pesticides.

Nice eco friendly hotel in the jungle. Friendly staff. Be aware of limited to the lobby only. There is no wifi at all in the rooms.

Beautiful scenery, a bit noisy with the highway close by.

Nice property outside of downtown Palenque. Room was large and very clean. Same for the pool. No hot tub though--the pictures we saw online showed one but it is filled with pool temp water. Breakfast was a buffet and very good. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Howler Monkeys were very loud at night, but I love that!

The location was well set in the jungle, the food and the atmosphere in the restaurant was amazing. My only issue was the room was very dated including the top blanket looked like it came from the 70s. This may be because they put me in one of the unrenovated rooms. If I rerurned I would request one of the renovated rooms.

Location, beautiful landscaping, next to the river, with private lagoon. Very nice restaurant amazing food and views

Very good location and great tropical gardens. Dispersed room arrangements made for a comfortable stay. Pool was warm and properly maintained. An excellent place to stay while exploring Palenque.

Very nice, peaceful hotel right on an amazing bend in the river with small waterfalls. Excellent staff, nice rooms, terrific restaurant with small but delicious breakfasts. (However, can get overwhelmed by larger tour groups) Don't need alarm clock because roosters and Howler Monkeys do the job. Very nice pool complete with a bar. Fortunately most tours stop here last. (If you've seen how spread out Palenque hotels are this is really sweet) If you need laundry washed be sure to stress when you check out because mine took a while. I can't say how this hotel rates compared to others in Palenque but the price was incredible for everything considered. I've seen several negative reviews including poor conditions and even mosquitoes but I saw very few in a place infamous for these nasty things. (For Palenque bring the super Deet stuff AND the special repellent used on clothing. It was my secret weapon and I saw mosquitoes get within a foot of me and did a 180 and zipped away) Enjoy your stay here and you'll see my review is spot on.

I like the whole place. It is like a paradise in the jungle. So if I have an opportunity to come back I will do it again

Wonderful.... Beautiful place, we rented the standard suite for a great price. It was clean, comfortable, large, quiet, and the staff are wonderful. We had our own car, so it was not a problem that it is not located right in town. WIFI is not the greatest. The food was very good.

I stayed in one of the most expensive rooms, with a huge bathroom and a patio area outside. The room was comfortable and in good condition. Overall the hotel is pleasant. Evening meal at the restaurant was good, with a reasonable range, steak for example was cooked as requested. Breakfast was a bit of a let down though in comparison. Having said that, compared to similar priced hotels in Latin America generally, I would have said the breakfast was OK. Staff arranged trips for us at short notice and were generally helpful. The location is good for the local archaeological sites.
