Riad First

I made my reservation and paid at this establishment days before my arrival, scheduled for November 6th, for 4 days. I received several confirmations, . Upon arriving at the airport, the driver tried to contact the Riad 5 times and they never answered the phone. After 13-hour int. flighThe driver dropped us off at the nearest Medina entrance, 15 minutes from the Riad. Upon arrival, we had to knock several times before they finally opened the door. There were two cleaning ladies; one of them kindly offered us mint tea and told us that they weren't expecting any guests that day. We showed her, the reservation, and she then put us in touch with the Riad manager, Mrs. Fatima. She told us that our reservation had been canceled and that she didn't have a room available, that we should call Expedia, We contacted them, but they couldn't verify the situation because again, no one was answering. So we couldn't resolve anything. Mrs. Fatima called us and told that we had to leave in 10 minutes. That's how our adventure in Marrakech began: on the street, with nowhere to sleep at 6 p.m., in a foreign country, and without any support. Mrs. Fatima never showed any empathy; she was brusque, rude, and completely unpleasant, never showed any empathy; she was brusque, rude, and completely unpleasant, she simply left us on the street without a second thought. I would never recommend an establishment that showed no regard, in the end, received help from a woman on the street.

Beautiful place to stay with lovely staff. Only down side is that it was not very easy to find

Riad molto vicino al suk e a tutte le attività da fare in centro. Abbiamo soggiornato in tre in una suite. Bagno aperto sulla camera senza porta che ci obbligava a uscire dalla stanza a turno per lasciare un po' di privacy. Materasso molto morbido, che può soddisfare alcuni ma a me ha causato fastidi alla schiena. Struttura con stile e colori moderni. Colazione dolce abbondante, un po' un neo per chi ama colazioni salate, ma questo accomuna un po' tutti i Riad. Salumi ( ovviamente) e formaggi inesistenti.

The riad is very clean and the people are very friendly. It is simple and beautiful, not same decoration as other riads, it is more modern. Close to the souks and Jem el Fna, 15min walking. There is stores all the qay to the Jema el fna, and restaurants.

J’ai énormément apprécié mon séjour à Marrakech, merci à Fatima et Sofiane pour l’accueil incroyable. Le riyad est très beau.

Bellissima città, caotica e affascinante, Riad oasi di pace

Tajine traditionnel (Maroc) Tajine traditionnel (Maroc) Très beau riad. L'architecture marocaine associée à une déco contemporaine de très bon goût. Ma fille et moi avons été séduites pas son atmosphère sobre et relaxante ! Le Riad est d'une propreté impeccable et la terrasse sur le toit est un endroit charmant pour se détendre et profiter du soleil. Les chambres et les salles de bain sont magnifiques! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les petits-déjeuners dans le patio au bord du bassin. L’accueil de Fatima et de toute l’équipe était parfait, je me réjouis déjà de mon prochain séjour au Riad First !

Prenotato con mesi di anticipo (e pagamento anticipato) ma, una volta arrivato, il personale non trovava la prenotazione. Ho dovuto cambiare stanza durante il soggiorno - e la prima stanza non era stata sistemata. Non ci sono serrature nelle porte, chiunque puo' accedere alla stanza in qualsiasi momento e non ci sono cassaforte o altro spazio con chiusura di sicurezza per lasciare documenti o oggetti di valore. Il "drink di benvenuto" previsto nel pacchetto era una bottiglietta d'acqua. Richiesto con molto anticipo la possibilita' di avere una colazione vegana, solo il secondo giorno abbiamo ricevuto una pera e una banana al posto della colazione standard. Abbiamo chiesto una bottiglia d'acqua la sera, ci hanno offerto di riempire un vuoto con l'acqua del rubinetto. Abbiamo chiesto se fosse possibile stampare i biglietti del volo e ci e' stato assicurato di si: l'ultimo giorno non sono stati stampati e abbiamo dovuto trovare un luogo nella medina dove vendessero tale servizio. In generale un'esperienza che non mi sento di suggerire a nessuno.

Très beau riad veaiment cost et design! Le personnel est au petit soin surtout Madame Fatma qui n'hésite pas à nous à donner ses conseils pour passer un agréable séjour !
