Ostello Bello Bagan Pool

I like that the hotel had dining options. Our room was a bit smaller than pictured. Breakfast was cold, but I like coffee and tea all day.

Fantastic hostel, the sister hostel to Ostello Bello just down the road. This location is a bit more quiet than the other and has the advantage of the pool on site. Ostello Bello provides a lot of great group activities with easy to understand sign ups at a reasonable cost. Bagan is a place where most people want to get up early to see the sunrise and this hostel actually allows for quiet time starting early enough for anyone to get a good night’s rest. One can also reserve a private room here at a reasonable cost.

This hostel (Ostello Bello Bagan Pool) is the smaller and quieter version of the main Bagan one. They often share their daily tours when they dont get full. They are really close to each-others (5 min walking) if someone's fancy to join the more social active one. The 4 bed dorm was really comfortable and bid in size with a strong AC system (believe me its really needed even in the colder months like Jan-Feb). As per all other Ostello Bello the shower and toilet are en-suite and the shower is great and powerful. The mattress are really good and the main advantage of this hostel is more quiet and not noisy. There are big lockers boxes available in the dorm and the traditional plug with USB with a reading light and a box to hold your electronics. A further improvement would be to include privacy curtain in the bunk beds. Also as per the other Ostello Bello, although there is not a dedicated travel desk, there are always some tours and activities that you can join. Not to forget the pool, which is a good addition and even-though the water is not heated the sun is so strong that you can use throughout the day. The hostel is located in the main road (New Bagan) with lots of stands offering travel services and e-bikes, many restaurants and easy access to the connecting roads to Old Bagan and Nyaungu. The hostels offers also some social activities and the breakfast changes every day! Great place.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here, due to the very poor customer service and aloofness of the staff. I have to say that I'm very disappointed with the management of Ostello Bello Bagan Pool, with Mr. Rosta Navara, the hotel General Manager in particular. As I couldn't get my travel visa to Myanmar in time, I had to unfortunately cancel my trip, and also my hotel booking. So I proceeded to call the hotel to confirm that I can get a full refund before cancelling. I called 5 times but no one answered my call. When I finally managed to reach someone (Rosta), he told me that I will not get a single cent of refund for my 3-nights stay, as I had just passed the hotel cancellation deadline. The reality is if someone had answered my call in any of the 5 times I called, I would have been able to cancel in time. Rosta was aloof, unapologetic and unreasonable. He has a total lack of understanding what good customer service looks like. He chose to ignore the fact that the hotel's poor responsiveness had cost me my 3-nights worth of stay. But cost aside, it's a matter of principles. After going through the stress and disappointment of a cancelled holiday, I had to further endure the terrible attitude of Rosta. In all the hotels of the 30 countries I've visited before, I have encountered only friendly hotel staff who know the importance of making customers happy. Ostello Bello & Rosta is not one of them, and will never gain my or my friends' patronage ever.

スタッフの対応が最高でした。 イーバイク、ニャウンシェまでのバスチケット手配しまいにはホテルまで送迎付きでミャンマー旅行の中で1番楽できてしまいました。 宿から事前に両替はヤンゴンでした方がいいとの助言も旅を続ける中でとても助けになりました。 何から何までありがとうございました。 あと、スタッフの人の誕生日だったみたいでケーキ貰っちゃいました。お誕生日おめでとう！
