Staying at art’otel Amsterdam was an absolute delight! The location couldn’t be more perfect. Centrally located with easy access to trains and just a short walk to many of Amsterdam’s must-see spots. The staff were truly exceptional: warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The artistic décor throughout the hotel is a unique gem that adds charm and character, while the rooms are modern, stylish, and impeccably maintained. A perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and creativity highly recommend for anyone visiting Amsterdam!

Didn't realize you needed the key card for the lights and the air conditioning to work, but other than that the stay was wonderful.

Stayed 3 nights as a pre-extension to a longer business trip. Initially chose Art’otel due to the proximity to the other hotel for our meeting and was very pleased that I did. Excellent location and the staff was very attentive and went above and beyond to accommodate us and our early arrival. Room was comfy with a great view, pool and spa area very clean and relaxing. I would recommend!

Best hotel to stay in Amsterd

Amazing location across from central station. Hotel is really nice and bar and restaurant were super clean and staff really helpful. Hotel felt very dark including the room decor.

Starting with the positive, this hotel is centrally located which is great. The mattress was very firm (which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but with back issues, was welcomed). Unfortunately it fell very very short of the experience expected, given the rating and the significant financial cost of a night(!). For reference, these issues references were reported, in writing, with photos whilst we stayed, management said they ‘tried to speak to us in the room’ (we were out, and as I pointed out, they didn’t try too hard as they didn’t bother to contact either of us - a little strange given they had both our phone numbers. ‘Blackout room’? No. Most definitely not. See photos. The curtain wasn’t even big enough to stretch across the gap. Cleanliness? - no. Bedside table had grimy marks and there were filthy smear stains of ‘something’ on the wall?! Privacy? No. Hope if you’re sharing a room with someone you’re very comfortable with one another. Very big gap down the side of the toilet door. Anecdotal bit of fun - enjoy the view of yourself on the toilet in the reflection of the glass :/ Health and safety? - lacking. Smashed corner on the glass top to the bedside table. No clearance on the shower door to enable you to place a bathmat to avoid slipping on water on the floor. Books through hotels.com - explained the situation and provided the evidence. They were ‘unable to refund’ as the hotel did not authorise it. Offer of upgrade & breakfast on future stay was insulting

Location was fantastic. Room was spacious and clean with all necessary amenities. Pool was nice. It would have been nice to have drawers to keep clothes-that's my only critique.

Everything about my stay at art’otel Amsterdam was enjoyable. The staff made me feel welcome and were always attentive and friendly. Location is very convenient, right next to Centraal Station. I can’t wait to book my next visit!

The staff was so helpful and friendly. The room was clean. We loved the unique art throughout the hotel. The location was right across from centraal station, close to all public transit.

Art’otel is really in a great location considering how easy it is to get around in Amsterdam. Right across from the train station, but an easy walk to anywhere you want to be around town. Staff at the hotel was really lovely, friendly, and available at all hours. The room itself was comfortable, laid out well, plenty of space, and modern. The bathroom was a bit odd. No door, so make sure you’re comfortable with whoever you’re sharing with. Shower was good, good pressure. Overall, Amsterdam is pricey when it comes to hotels, but I thought the hotel was in great condition and was in a great location for a short stay.

Lovely Hotel in a great location

Such an amazing hotel!!!!! It’s right in the heart of the city, right across the street from the train station. Maybe a 10 minute walk to the red light district. A 10 minute walk to the ferry. It’s close to everything!!! The staff was amazingly nice. They were so accommodating. I received a free bottle of Rosé for opting out of them cleaning my room everyday. We were celebrating a coworkers birthday & one of the staff remembered and asked how’d he enjoy his birthday a couple days later. If I return to Amsterdam, I’m definitely be staying here!
