Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Hellendoorn

Room was good size for 3 adults. Only 2 power outlets and not great lighting in bathroom for putting on makeup. Otherwise no complaints. We had a great stay.

This hotel property is best described as "Past Due"...very past due. The rooms are very small with very old and very tired beds. Two beds means two very tiny one person (small person) bed with a memory matrass that long lost his memory with a paper thing blanket. One tiny towel but that wasn't a problem as the shower was to small to shower a adult person anyway. The included breakfast was (probably due to staffing problems) not worthy to be mentioned a breakfast. At 9 am there wasn't a lot left at the buffet, not even a plate or cutlery. Out of the approx 15 tables 12 where covered in dirty plates and food left overs. Very poor quality food and not enough. Never seen a hotel with single pane windows and metal outriggers on the windows that wouldn't close completely. Totally wonder how that room could ever be warmed on a colder day. At arrivel the frontdesk staf (behind the bar) made us wait 10 minutes while there was absolutely nobody else. This hotel should really not be on expedia as this is not the kind of hotel you expect to book through expedia or any other booking site. The price charged for a room was 140 Euro or $ 190 Canadian dollars. (we found our later that not booking through a booking site and paying cash at the bar was substantially cheaper) Anyway...if you want a night sleep and a breakfast,,,this is not the place to go.

Excellent service but there was no facilities for tea or coffee in a room

The people are absolutely lovely. The room is what you’d expect for the price. The food is superb.

The hotel is OK, but maintenance is lacking. Also, the hotel gave an understaffed impression: serving in the restaurant was slow both at dinner and at breakfast. The quality of the dinner and breakfast itself was OK.

It was a nice hotel. With nice views from the balcony. Resturant was a little expensive although the staff were very friendly. Could do with some fast wifi.

It was such a lovely positive experience staying in this Hotel. Staff were so helpful,and I mean really helpful, way more than you would normally expect. The room was quiet, spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was fantastic! I would strongly recommend this hotel to others. The only down side was the lack of a mini-fridge & tea/coffee making facilities in the room. However, this is a small down compared to all the pluses. very Happy!! :)

We booked the rooms for the three couples we were in the afternoon of the same day we stayed there and were happy to find large, clean rooms with a little veranda for each room looking out onto a tiny pond surrounded with greenery. The village of Hellendoorn is such a picturesque place perfect for an evening stroll. In the morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast buffet. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Bed was too soft and room was warm. Restaurant was nicely appointed and food was great!

I came to the area for a cycling event nearby. The Hotel itself is nothing fancy. If anything it is less fancy than the pictures suggest. That said, it was perfectly comfortable; the staff were great and very friendly and helpful; the food and wine in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced.

ITS à 3* hotel ! So it was ok. Diner was great and breakfest was durable

Restaurant 4 Star all the way. Rooms only 3. The ground floor style and décor is good, but once you head upstairs to the bedrooms, you feel like you are moving from a 4 Star to a 3 Star. Restaurant was full several nights of my stay.

Ruime kamer met 2 kinderen. Vriendelijk personeel, prima ontbijtbuffet. Aan de rand van een vriendelijk dorp en vlakbij mooie bossen.

De douchebak was erg krap Kamer prima Ontbijt en diner goed

We hebben deze locatie gekozen voor een overnachting tijdens het Pieterpad lopen. Daarin heeft het voldaan maar de kamers zijn duidelijk verouderd

Goed verzorgd, vriendelijk personeel.
