Close to everything . I wish there was more shade . Cute souvenir shop nearby . The lux bar had really good food and drinks and by the pool . The girl bartender there was so friendly. I loved how easy it was to go back and forth to renissance island . The only negative is not close to an actual beach

This was our second time at this property and the service has definitely changed for the worse over the years. Although we opted for the all inclusive option, it still didn’t include everything. We felt like the experience was not as good as some of the other all inclusive properties we have stayed at in the past, although this was supposed to be a more luxurious resort. Our package didn’t include a mini bar or room service and that was disappointing. The resort seemed understaffed and the first two days we had to go find waitstaff to take our orders. Our room didn’t get serviced one day despite the housekeeper working diligently trying to get the rooms cleaned on our floor. We just asked for towels and let her skip us. On the private island it was very crowded and no shady spots to sit on the adult side. We went over to the family side and eventually found a shady spot to sit but had to wait for an hour just to get our drink orders taken. Although we were very careful to only choose alcohol on our plan we still had to dispute charges on our final bill. After management went over our receipts and talked with the food and beverage staff they were able to determine that we had not ordered any top shelf alcohol and removed the charges from our bill. Overall we enjoyed our stay because we were together, but we have had better experiences at less expensive properties. We probably would not stay at this resort on our next visit to Aruba. It’s just not worth the money.

Our stay was great! Rooms were cleaned, full of amenities, lots of shops and restaurants around. Transportation between the two resorts was easy, fast, and efficient. The boat ride to see the flamingo was so much fun but prepare to get wet. Food and service on the island was great too. This was a great choice for our first trip to Aruba. The private island was a highlight of our trip! We booked a cabana at Iguana Beach, which was well worth it. We stayed on the Family😎 side, which had a much better view and upgraded to an ocean view suite which was lovely to see the ocean each morning.

The advantage of staying here is the complimentary boat ride to flamingo island, however you can also purchase a day pass to experience that so I am not sure it’s worth it. There isn’t much to do downtown and I would prefer to stay in a resort style hotel if I’m in the Carribean. One that is actually on the beach over on Palm Beach.
