Sheraton Lagos Hotel

This hotel has been a childhood dream, and I have aspired to stay at this iconic establishment for many years. Ultimately, I fulfilled this aspiration, and it was truly a dream come true. The British motifs are prominently displayed, which is a positive aspect considering I have resided in the UK for over 35 years. I appreciated the ambiance; the security is excellent, and the staff are very friendly. Although I did not dine during my stay, despite my reservation including a complimentary breakfast, what stood out most for me was the location, the security, and above all, the attentive staff, as well as the in-house pub that remains open until around 3am It is indeed a remarkable place, and I will certainly return. However, the rooms could benefit from some refurbishment.

Good experience

From beginning to end my stay was fabulous! My room was cleaned and stocked daily with water and linens.The staff was courteous and helpful. I felt safe and secure. All amenities were accessible and accommodating. It was also nice to find transportation with ease. I loved the perk of the club lounge on the sixth floor with my upgrade! Drinks and appetizers from 5-7 was so delightful in an intimate setting! Thank you!

Good hotel, great location to the airpeor. Staff were courteous. Nice range of food options although breakfast could be better. Goodies Pub is also good, although in 2026 why do you still allow smoking inside the Pub.

They gave me two separate small beds like kids and they gave me a room small. Is not what l paid for. It was the worst experience l have ever had

The staff

I reserved a room with a King size bed for me and my wife and was given a room with two single (yes, Single) beds and was rudely told by the front desk staff checking us in that it was all they had available. Unfortunately, it was quite late at night; otherwise, we would have found a different hotel. Sadly, my wife had to spend our anniversary on two separate single beds. The only redeeming thing about the room was the presence of an iron and ironing board.

The hotel is generally very good, if a little tired looking. Most staff are very friendly and eager to please, I just experienced one front-desk staff member who was a little rude - totally ignoring me for a few minutes then grumpily asking "what do you want?". Other staff were great though. The outside bar/restaurant is a very nice place to relax.
