The place was beautiful. If you love the scenic views and nature, this is definitely worth the travel time. The hotel has a boat to charter to the nearby Sepok island, which took around 30 minutes. It was a fun ride, coming back was a bit choppy, but was expected. The staff were great and helpful. If you are not a bug person, this place ain’t for you. Tons of termites at night and bugs. But we love the nature, adventure, and how kid-friendly it is. Such a beautiful place. The restaurant food was decent. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Will definitely come back.

The first time we went scuba diving in Anilao back in 2013, I discovered Eagle Point Resort. Since then it has been our favorite dive resort in Anilao. The rooms are clean, the staff is great, the food is great and above all easy shore entry for divers! The weekend we booked was for a special occasion, I contacted the resort prior to our check in date to request for special arrangements to be done! Oh boy, they really delivered! I must commend their staff namely Lea and Dexter, for their effort in setting up the room with balloons and such. Come dinner time, a table was reserved and set up romantically too! Overall this booking has further imbibed in us that this place is still wonderful even now in 2019. We are divers and easy access to the ocean front is a must! If you are a scuba diver, you definitely should book in this resort! They have 2 main swimming pools near the lobby which is great for non divers and kids. The food may be pricey, but its worth it. We devoured every single item that we ordered and was satisfied. There are no other food choices around the resort. Bringing in your own food is not allowed. Do note that Eagle Point Resort doesn’t have any sandy beach frontage, will only recommend beginner snorkelers to come here during summer when the waters are flatter. When we went free diving the water is choppy and there is a strong under current which for the inexperienced snorkeler, may be dangerous, the area with the strong current is way out near the bouys though. New snorkelers should stay near the shore, there are plenty underwater life to see around the rocks near the shore! For first time guests, the parking is far from the actual resort. Parking lot is on top of a cliff, there is a hotel shuttle that will bring you down to the lobby, so try to bring everything you need from the car with you. The resort has many many staircases, and may not be suitable for wheelchairs and the elderly.

We didn't know that the beach is actually not in the place of eagle point. That we need to pay more than 2000 pesos just to get to the real beach. To think that the resorts name is eagle point "beach" resort. So disappointing!

The rooms were nice. There was a nice view of the ocean. The underwater life is beautiful. There’s is Scuba diving and snorkeling at affordable prices. The food the is really delicious. Sepoc Island was really nice too. I managed to take a lot of nice pictures there. There is a nice view with a short hike up. There are small caves too. It would have been better if there were more activities available in the hotel. Like live music, karaoke, a possibility of visiting other nearby islands around Sepoc Island.

We had a very wonderful stay here, the place was huge providing a good place to walk around, the weather at the time we stayed was also perfect providing a good view of the calm sea with small boats passing by which were very calming to watch. It was also not very crowded when we cam, around middle of September, there were very few guests which allowed us to enjoy the peaceful place. The room has aged a bit, you can see that the furniture bed and doors were quite old but nevertheless, it was not a hindrance for us, and for its price tag, it is still very much good value for money. The pool was clean and the temperature is ok even during the night. The food was ok, we did not try the buffet dinner and ordered a la carte, their breakfast was also ok nothing extravagant but it was fulfilling. We were able to hire a boat to sepoc beach where we snorkeled, the water was very nice and clean and the beach is nice for a place in Anilao where you would expect rocky beaches. If you are commuting I would advise to contact the resort beforehand so they can teach you how to get a cheap tricycle since some drivers will try to charge you 400php per way into/out of the resort but the normal rate is around 200php only. The best part about the resort is their very warm and welcoming staff, everyone had a nice smile and would greet you all the time, you can easily spot them around the resort if you need anything, and the restaurant staff already remembered us during our first meal, which is why we did not have to repeat our room number on our succeeding meals, which is quite commendable. They also allow room charge for anything purchased which was very convenient as we did not need to bring cash at all with us while swimming. Overall the experience was very nice and well worth our money.
