Harolds Hotel CEBU

This was a Nostalgia stay. The last time we visited was pre-pandemic approximately 9 years ago. Sadly, it was not what we last remembered it being in terms of quality. The rooms offer a medium-hard bed. Mediocre Internet. A decent speed, but dropped devices fairly consistently. I ended up using my foreign cell phone 5G connection during the entire stay, because of the network instability. The shower only offers 2 temperature settings: Ice cold or hot. No range of hot, just hot. Consistent though. The breakfast buffet is not worth the price tag. Recommend NOT adding it to your stay package. Quality of food does not improve on the weekends or holidays either. It is virtually the same menu every day. The staff here are friendly, professional and accommodating. But, as observed, they don't smile, unless interacted with.

Room space was excellent and clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast and Bar was excellent. The hotel location was accessible to anywhere in the city. Whenever we are in Cebu we always go back to this hotel.

Good value, good central location to City amenities and very courteous staff

The staff were very friendly and helpful cannot complain facility and room clean except the couches and single seat I've been here every year since 2023 I always booked the executive suite the same couch filty dirty time to invest on new furniture overall experience satisfied thats why I keep coming back again good place to stay.

I enjoyed the breakfast buffet and roof top bar the most

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was large and very clean. The food was delicious and well prepared and well presented. Merry Christmas!

Breakfast has limited options but it was good. The smell of the carpet was terrible. I got the executive room, and I could hear the noise from the highway. I used to love this property every time I came home from the United States, but with my recent stay I might stay in a different property.

Everything was good

Every time my husband and I come home to visit family in Cebu, Philippines this is always the place we choose to stay. We’ve had many good experiences here over the years, and honestly, the staff are the main reason we keep coming back. They’re always so kind, helpful, and professional. They make us feel welcome every time, and they really do take good care of their guests. I just wanted to share a few concerns from our recent stay. The toilet flush wasn’t working properly, and the bidet kept dripping. The towels also looked a bit old and not very pleasant to use. There’s also a small safety issue, the seam between the vinyl floor and the tile at the entrance of the room is coming loose, and it’s easy to trip on it. Other than those things, we really appreciate the service and the people here. I’m hoping these issues can be fixed because we truly enjoy staying at this place whenever we’re in Cebu, Philippines.

Good stay

Everything was going so well. One of the bathroom glasses slipped out of my hand and broke. Such is life. Charged PHP 200. The desk clerk agreed that the charge was pathetic and childish but deployed the Nuremberg Defence "it's just my job". FWIW PHP 200 is ten times the retail cost of the item and this hotel is not cheap for the traveller. Petty and exploitative, but this is the Philippines.

the overall service was excellentl. Great staff. They extended supporrt beyond expectation.

Amazing

It was a safe, clean and comfortable place to stay. The staff are beyond professional. They treated us with dignity and respect. The rooms are starting to show their age but the room was clean. A nice place that I would recommend.
