Great Spa Hotel and friendly stuff.

beautiful, clean and fresh air. however, electric car ride was not available, on the day of. No one said anything the day prior if there is no driver. if an event is taking place at the restaurant, entire restaurant is busy and in hotel guests are unable to eat. Some other options would be appropriate for the near future. And have more authentic options on the menu that are hunagrian/transylvanian. I would visit again.

A big plus for the SPA area. The access was allowed based on reservation only and limited to 40 persons. This was a smart approach making us feel safe and enjoying the facilities with enough privancy. The breakfast was good, based on reservation and served at the table and not as a buffet to avoid crowds. The restaurant serves great food, with a good selection of wines. Sometimes we had to wait for a table, but every night they organized a campfire, which was a perfect match for the surroundings. On our way to the hotel we saw bears.This is a common thing in the area, and fun if you are in the car. Overall, this was a great experience!

On the 23rd I have decided to make a nice present to one of my friends for his birthday and I booked a night in this hotel so he can go with his wife, have a romantic dinner and go to the spa. He arrived at the hotel he checked-in with his wife and they were taken to a room with a Queen bed. The next day when they check out there were asked to pay an additional 244.13lei, for a so called upgrade. Imagine how surprised my friend was since this was a present from me . Since he didn’t know exactly the details of the reservation( I made the reservation for him, it was a present) and because he didn’t wanted to spoil everything he agreed to pay. He met me the next evening when I asked him how was everything and he said: “Thank you for your present, we had a good time, but why didn’t you tell me I have to pay for it” I was soo embarrassed. He was explained that in the reservation we have requested a Queen bed and the room category we have booked doesn’t have a queen bed.The room I booked and paid for is: STANDARD DOUBLE ROOM ,QUEEN BED, MOUNTAIN VIEW, MOUNTAIN SIDE. When I spoke on the phone with hotel it turned out that they didn’t have this type of room available even though this is what I have booked and paid for and my friend was taken to a different category of room. When you book on Expedia a room that is advertised as double room Queen Bed, Expedia automatically adds on under Requests: Queen bed. My friend was charged extra because they didn't have the advertised category

Location is great. Room floor was not clean. Multiple signs of advanced wear in the room and bathroom. Bathroom was extremely small. Room windows were placed in a very high position, so the only thing you could actually view was the sky. Food choice in the restaurants was very limited and it tried to be fancy, in order to justify the high and very high prices. SPA is overcrowded and small, compared to the hotel capacity. Staff busted into the room before checkout time.

Great experience. Friendly and helpful staff, ready to please and intuitive. Last time I was here was 28 years ago. Have great memories. Again this place made it happen but lifted the experience to a whole new level. From the spa to the restaurants to the friendly staff, this is a place to come back to. Great job guys ! Will be back.

No playground for kids inside

Check-in was really fast but the room looked like a room from an old communist hotel - the entrance door to the room couldn't be closed properly, there was gaps at the top and at the side of the door. The furniture is old and dusty, chipped here and there. The room was full of living (and dead) flies, we killed about 4-5 of them but they just kept reappearing from somewhere. The showerhead was leaking and there are mold-stains in the corner of the bathroom. Only one shampoo and conditioner was provided, although we have booked a twin room (for 2 persons!). The bed was fairly comfortable but creaky, I kept waking up whenever my husband shifted his position. The spa area is ok, as others have mentioned the main problem is the lack of free tan-beds, it was all full when we arrived and we had to bring in seats from outside so we could improvise a spot for us. I didn't like it that the saunas didn't work properly, only one of them was ok. The water massage pools were ok, although they seemed partially broken too. The spa bar includes the service fee in the bill, that bothered me because the service was not good at all! Breakfast was ok, nothing fancy, but there were many dead flies on the windowsill of the restaurant! The eggs and bacon was already lukewarm when served. Bread was delicios. The other restaurant, Gastrolab, was great, I recommmend it! The fitness area was great too, I had a great workout there.

A nice hotel In winter , unless you ski or go to spa, you are stuck in the hotel.... Most of the staff barely speak English. Overall a good experience. Good food 👍

A perfect resort for relaxation. Beautiful location, friendly staff, nice pool and spa, good restaurant, nice and warm room. We will return soon.

The spa is amazing. Services are average, food is average. The road to the hotel is very bad, full of holes. The guys in the spa are totally amazing, especially Andrei.

Top hotel! Kényelmes, igényes, minden igényt kielégít! A wellness részleg is csodás. A személyzet udvarias és a vendégek kedvében jár. Biztosan visszatérünk még ide!

Schönes Hotel mit super Lage, Ausblick und guten Preisen. Positiv: Das Essen ist super in allen Restaurants des Hotels. Die Bedienung im Restaurant war sehr edel und professionell. Das Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet (inkl Bademantel und Handtücher zum SPA die bei Bedarf gewechselt wurden. Der Zugang zum Wellness/SPA ist im Zimmer inklusive. Das Wellnessangebot ist sehr gut. Negativ: der Außenpool war in Renovierung und konnte nicht genutzt werden (im Hochsaison Juli nicht machbar), somit sind wir ungebräunt wieder nach Hause gekommen. Am ersten Tagen waren zu viele kreischende Kinder am Pool die die ganze schöne Atmosphäre kaputt gemacht haben, aber an den restlichen Tagen war es viel besser. Die Duschen in der Sauna Welt und das Kaltbecken haben nicht funktioniert, zum Glück waren auch andere Duschen 20-30m entfernt zur Verfügung. Insgesamt trotzdem einen sehr schönen und gemütlichen Urlaub gehabt. Wir würden gerne auch nächstes Jahr wieder zurückkehren.

Spa très bien avec beucoup de facilités et proprété au top. Par contre pour un séjour de 5 jours, il y a eu aucun changement de drap ou de nettoyage de chambre (que le changement des serviettes dans la salle de bain)
