Lita the owner was in every way shape and form an incredibly gracious host. We arrived exhausted and burnt out after trekking in from Aufaga and we were at our lowest when she greeted us happily and after looking over our reservations, getting our rooms was no hassle at all. Lita even upgraded my room to an aircon room free of charge just because. She was so kind. There was one day I had to walk up the hill because our rental car couldn't handle the weight of 3 of us and our luggage and she stopped on her way to town, turned around, picked me up in her car and drove me back up the hill no questions asked. She saw how exhausted i was and like a literal angel rescued me again lol. Their laundry service was such a blessing as we didn't have a ton of time on our hands to run into town and do it ourselves but her staff handled it and got all my items back to me clean and ready to go in no time. If it's up to me I will come back and stay here every single time I am in Apia for any future visits. Nothing beats coming back at the end of a long day out in the heat and hustle and bustle and having a clean safe room to rest and recharge in 💯 P.S you really CANNOT beat the view from the deck or the beautiful waterfall you can swim near. This place is paradise ✨️ 😍

Wonder of Nature! Great place to unwind and take in the stunning and fantastic views, the birds, forest and Malama's beautiful gardens. The staff were amazing, very friendly, welcoming and always willing to help. Service and food were good too. one of the highlights was the Sunday umu demonstration by Losi, Laa, Lili and Tusi, highly recommended. The view and setting was great, and the beer and chips reasonably priced. The room was a concrete cell, with a lot of midges which were harmless. No free WiFi. Plumbing challenges mean mystery water splashes on the deck after upstairs flushes. On-property attractions like the river pools un-signposted so hard to find. No shampoo. Not terrible, but poor at the price point.

It was a wonderful place to spend our first 3 days in Samoa so restful and cool up in the hills. The views were marvellous. Had plenty of space in our room. We would definitely go again if in Samoa.

What a wonderful place to stay in the hills away from the city. The location is amazing with an incredible view over to the bay. We were made to feel welcome and valued as guests and could not speak more highly of Lolita and her team who were all very accommodating and helpful to us being first time visitors to Samoa. We would highly recommend a stay here and will certainly be doing so again when we return. Thank you Lolita!

We stayed 3 nights @ Dave Parkers Eco Lodge. The lodge is located on a mountain with wonderful views of the City of Apia & Ocean, surrounded by lush green forest, flowers and trees. The Lodge is secluded and quite. Great place if you want to chill out and relax but not convenient if you are interested in doing tours or coming into Apia everyday. But they do provide shuttle 5/6 days a week, leaving @ 8:30am and returning @ 3:00PM. The lodge is outdated. It has a small 22" TV on the wall, 1 Queen bed, which as OK. Balcony is not very useful. It is only about 3 feet wide, with 6" wooden railings, barely enough to squeeze a chair. But be careful of the Warps nets in the Wooden railing. 5 mins of arriving there, Bobby was stung by a Warp that had a large nest in the Wooden railings. We never went back out on the Balcony again. There are no bus services so either a car rental or arrange a Transfer in advance is best. Breakfast has two options... eggs & toast or pancakes. I asked for omelettes but the cook was not able to accommodate that. We had paid for breakfast in advance but it was added to our bill at checkout again. But Lolita, onsite Manager was able to credit us when I brought this to her attention. There is a small pool, we did not use it. Since Water is pumped up, buying drinking water is best. Lolita was wonderful. She is full of local information and she drives guests to town and pick them up. Lolita made our stay so much more enjoyable. We did check out a day early.

We really enjoyed our stay. Lolita was an exceptional host who made us feel very welcome. Rooms are basic but clean. Views are second to none. Absolute no-brainer for the travelling birder with many of my targets seen on the property. Suitable for anyone seeking a quiet relaxing stay in Samoa. Highly recommend the Sunday traditional Samoan lunch.

The owners are lovely, the view of the jungle, the city and the ocean are fantastic. The room was well vented as we didn't need air con. The rooms are dated and need a deeper clean, but excellent value for what you pay for. If you don't mind being twenty-plus minutes from the city and remote, this is a gem

Our stay at Dave Parker Eco resort was just lovely. We didn't really want to leave. Its quiet position, proximity to Apia and daily runs into town are what attracted us, but what we got was so much more. We were welcomed with smiles and information. Any question answered with local knowledge and advice. Being included in the umu on Sunday was a real highlight and felt we were part of the family. Thank you to all, we loved it
