The room was really spacious and well equipped with a kettle, armchair, TV and tea and coffee. We slept well and there was plenty of space for us both and our two dogs. It was also great value for money, especially as a delicious and generous breakfast was included. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Would recommend and would stay again!

It's a very old pub with lots of character,for value it's great, yes it's abit dated ,but that's the character bit, hosts are lovely, food fantastic, big big portions , we only stopped one night as a stop over to Aberdeen, but would certainly stay there again

Room had a nice shower with plenty shower gel etc plenty tea coffee in room,the owner and his staff are very welcoming,breakfast is really good plenty to eat,we didn't have a meal but our friends did they said portion size and quality good.we would recommend this hotel there are quite a number of stairs and steps throughout the hotel as it is an old building.we would recommend this hotel

The Hotel is a little dated but the norm for a town like Coldstream. The food was good, the breakfast excellent and the staff really cared about the clients. We enjoyed it and the locals were friendly and the service for our dog excellent.

We enjoyed our stay at Newcastle Arms hotel plenty parking space, nice room compact but adequate ,very clean , plenty of tea and coffee amenities.breakfast was excellent so much choice and the black pudding was second to none, the staff were so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a reasonably priced break.

First time i have stopped at this hotel but it will not be the last really pleasant owners and staff lovely big room and on suit bathroom and great breakfast at a nice price. Plus it has it own pub.

Breakfast was fantastic, staff fabulous, friendly bar/restaurant with locals and evening meals great. Room could benefit from an update but it's situated in a lovely old building with great pictures and memorabilia worth looking at. We would most certainly stay there again without question.
