nice room and good location, lot of shops and restaurants around, easy to get to train station, highly recommend!

I arrived early morning and asked if I could leave my bag there. The staff were kind and provided me with a ticket for later when I check in. As always, I enjoy staying here. Staff asked if I wanted a high floor room which I prefer because it has a nice view of the hongdae area and the mountains right behind.

This is my second time staying here. It’s a great hotel, in a great location with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff! Trust me, you’ll be happy if you stay here.

Beautiful design, amazing bed and bathroom, tasty onsite breakfast. The area around the hotel was very student oriented given nearby universities. Excellent shopping and restaurants surround this area.

After a 26-day budget trip through South Korea, I decided my final stay would be a high-end experience—four nights in Hongdae. Choosing the 9 Brick Hotel was the best decision I made. The hotel is exactly my style: industrial elegance at its finest. The professional staff goes above and beyond. Our room was the Deluxe model, and all I can say is WOW! The bed, pillows, and comforter felt like sleeping on a cloud. After so many days of traveling, I finally had a solid, quiet rest. The room was spotless—so clean that even the smell felt fresh, if that makes sense. The shower had excellent pressure and plenty of space, and the furniture and décor were beautifully selected and perfectly balanced. Everything you could possibly need in a hotel was provided. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the Hongdae shopping area—another WOW! Everything is within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious and very affordable, and the dining area felt gorgeous and romantic. A wonderful stay overall, and I highly recommend it. By the way… check-out is at 12 noon. Very nice!

Absolutely loved the stay in this hotel, very convenient, close to train stations, very walkable area, full of restaurant and convenience stores. The staff was very friendly and helpful

Overall not bad, the room smelled like cigarettes though, we had to open the windows for a bit to let some fresh air in.

Close to shops. Walls are a bit thin. Can hear everything the upstairs neighbours are doing.

Clean hotel and room with friendly and courteous staff. Conveniently located. Overall room design lacked privacy when using the bathroom - could be better designed. Overall it was a fantastic stay.

Great staff, and perfect location.

The room is clean but the carpet on the walkway on the floor that we stayed seems to have white stained on it. There are good mixed of eatery around the hotel and walking distance to Hongdae shopping street.

Generally, the property looks good but the level we were staying, the corridor carpet seems to have stains. So not sure it is been there for awhile. The room main door stopper at the bottom seems to out of service which i cannot use it and depends on the door chain inside the room.

It’s a great hotel in a very fun and popular part of Seoul. Restaurants, bars, stores/shopping are everywhere! You want Korean fried chicken, ginseng chicken soup or Korean bbq? It’s around the corner? Want a great wine bar? Wine O Clock is a mere 5-7 minute walk away. And so much more by way of food and drink in every direction. Shopping galore is up and down the streets. 9 Brick Hotel is a great and comfortable hotel with nice rooms and in a wonderful part of Seoul! Enjoy!
