Hotel Humaina is nestled in the middle of the mountains, far from any noise or disturbance. It allows one to disconnect from the stresses of life, and just relax. There is a nice patio where you can sit in the shade, or you can relax outside in front of the pool overlooking the mountains. There is a trail right outside the hotel that you can climb and have beautiful views overlooking the city of Malaga. The hotel is neat and clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There are only a limited number of rooms, so there are no large crowds to disturb the peace. Breakfast was free and was very nice. This hotel is highly recommended if you are looking for a place to get away from the city and bond with nature and enjoy the peace and quiet.

If you want seclusion away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. Away from the main road, but with access to great lookouts and hiking paths! The property is a bit old but the staff care for it how they can. Expect waning luxury, but clean and livable rooms. It gets cold in the winter so bring some fluffy PJs. Staff is helpful and pleasant. Sometimes the jabalí show up--one was there during dinner.

The location is perfect & very isolated, The rooms are a good size & comfortable. Sadly the evening meals are a little lack lustre, considering there is nowhere else to go without a drive, on VERY dark roads. You would hope the food could showcase local produce, but no its a bit err average. We have stayed here several times & while everything else is lovely, the food is a let down.

This hotel is in beautiful setting very tranquil until the weekends when the Spanish locals invade. Didn't mind the Spanish but unruly children treating pool like a stream throwing sticks, leaves and paper in it not on. No wonder the pool is filthy and I wouldn't like to bath in it. The rooms are very basic but kept spotlessly clean. The meals were ok and service very good only complaint the bread it was absolutely awful. The wild boars also add a interest.

A little difficult to find the correct road at first, blame that on our sat nav. Well signposted on the main road, though a stated distance would have been helpful. We had a nice evening meal, the continental breakfast was OK, though not a lot of choice and the toaster took ages!

The hotel is very remote away from the city, high in the mountain. The GPS we had did not find it. It is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax. No neighbors near the isolated location of fully functional and friendly hotel. I thought it was in middle of city. , my plans were to leave early in the morning and only stay the night. I did not now the distance from the center of Malaga. We will return to enjoy it more
