One night stay over

Hotel lovely clean and great food. The Hotel is situated in an area with not many open facilities so so felt a bit isolated without a car

Property was lovely and clean, amazing spa, pool not open due to time of year, some staff on front desk were more helpful than others, outside bar area and service very good. I stayed here and used it as a base

Only downside was the outdoor pool is being renovated, probably too cold to use it if it had been in service

Hotel renovating yet wasn’t informed

Arrived on satuday 1/3/2025 room we was given had broken patio doors i reported it to reception & a maintenance man arrived checked patiodoors the lock catches were broken & said he could fix them until monday ,sowe had to leave everything in the room which was not secure.

The rooms needs an update. For a 4 star hotel the television reception is below standard. The breakfast isn't the standard of a 4 star hotel. the coffee was not nice.

We loved our stay. Unfortunately building work was happening which meant a limited menu for restaurant and noisy when work happening.

Building works going on so maybe unfair to judge too harshly on this occasion

Stayed for new year Gala was ok wouldn’t recommend this event for the price was poor service overall.

Wonderful staff, all very friendly and helpful. Quick service and very polite. The room was very clean and warm. Plenty of space for twin beds and my niece and I to move around. Nothing was too much trouble, from the extra towels to wash m6 very long hair, to the extra hour we were abke to stay after check out. Breakfast was great, lots of choice in the buffet and a very reasonable price . Again the staff were brilliant! Really nice and friendly. I did not ask for vegetarian sausages, with hindsight I should have but I had plenty of choice so it really was not necessary. Both check in and check out were perfect, we were made to feel very welcome and a cheery goodbye when we left. Very highly recommended and we will definitely return.

Great hotel only 1 thing i dont like no coffee in room or milk for morning coffee but a great hotel

The hotel Laguna is a pleasant hotel with helpful staff. It’s clean, it’s quiet and our room, a junior suit was fine, albeit overlooking the road/car park (room 107) but not everyone can have a view. We decided on half board, breakfast and evening meal, however, there is the option of lunch instead of the evening meal. We found the breakfast was reasonable, various choices of continental or cooked food, however the bacon was usually cold! A good selection of fruit and cereal was on offer and so all on all not bad. The evening meals were disappointing, on the first night I had pork knuckle my wife had fish (soul) the soul was awful, the tail end of the fish and poorly cooked. My pork knuckle wasn’t bad. The second night we both chose the Iberian pork, it was chewy and inedible. The third night we both chose the pork cheek, an awful cut of fatty meat which we couldn’t eat. In fairness when asked by the waiter how the food was we gave him an honest answer and we were offered another meal, which we declined, we took a trip to Burger King. The starters and deserts were ok, the hotel does offer A La Cart but we didn’t try that and so couldn’t comment. All in all the hotel is lovely, the staff are great and the place is spotless. They need to focus on their ingredients for the half board option as they are poor, but I’m sure that the chef is great but you can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear. I would recommend this hotel for a stay but I would opt for bed and breakfast only.

Relaxing hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Not very much near it, a small number of bars and cafes/restaurants The rooms are ready for an update.
