The most unreal hotel with incredibly welcoming and helpful staff members. We had the most lovely time eating the most yummy food provided by the hotel, lovely bar, lovely pools over looking the beach and some really fun live music in the evenings. One weakness is if your room is on the ground floor like ours you can hear people in the bar until late at night if you don’t have ear plugs, and then in the early hours of the morning we got woken up most mornings by the cleaners as the cleaning cupboard was right outside our door which was a bit inconvenient hearing this every morning

Amazing stay! My partner and I loved Hotel More. We had the sea view room and the view was absolutely stunning. We loved the 2 pools and how there was an adult only pool. The hotel staff were very friendly and we enjoyed dinner with a view and evening entertainment. We will 100% come back and recommend to others.

It’s a Value hotel, so the review takes this into account. The rooms were very basic, no frills, many years since a refurbishment. Rooms were just not comfortable enough. Beds were horrific. 2 single beds, it seems a double is out of the question. I’d describe bed like a hospital bed, but less comfy. Designed to be raised to make it easier for the maids to change the sheets. The beds squeaked with every minor movement, there was Black tape over the slats to stop the squeaking. It was so bad that both our single beds were changed by the hotel, I apologise for the next guests who were then given these to ‘sleep’ in. On a plus point the view is great and location opposite the bay is good. Too far to comfortably walk into town when it’s hot. Breakfast is varied but average quality. If you’re on a tight budget this hotel is probably suit and good value.

Very happy with the 24 hour reception as our flight arrived in Palma at 11pm. Breakfast is 8-10am; lots of cooked foods, cheese, pastries, fresh fruit. Never too busy in the breakfast room. Our room (#3) was in the “old” part of the hotel so interior was a bit older and simple but price was good for the week, had all we needed plus a beautiful view of the ocean. Room was cleaned every day. Our AC did break half-way through the week but we were given a replacement fan which was fine! Reception helped us to book a Jeep Wrangler (€115) and also bikes (€11) for the day. There is a little shop around the corner where you can rent mopeds and buy supplies. The guy there is really nice. Parking around the hotel is free but hard to find a spot. Only downside is the other hotel opposite has loud stage entertainment almost every night until late. It wasn’t too bad but if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to ask for a room on the other side of the building. Old town is a 10 minute walk. A few nice beaches 20-30 minute walk (Sant Pere especially)!

Old hotel, no wifi in the rooms. Nice pool by the sea but other guests occupy spaces in the shadow already early in the morning with their towels. Bad breakfast, on the last morning the milk at the buffet was bad and i only noticed when i tried it with my cereals!!! Staff not friendly and confused, they tried to charge us for the hotel room and the ecotax 3 times - even though the room was paid on Expedia when making the booking. Hotel overpriced for what it is. Far away from village, no restaurants or bar nearby (20 min wal).

Our room in hotel More was in the newer side of the hotel, so our room was modern and beautiful ! I cannot speak to the conditions of the room in the older part of the hotel. There was two pool, both in good condition and a small gym that was nice and new. HOWEVER, there was so many rules that it felt more like a job than a vacation. The pool hours are limited to 11-5, Sauna hours from 8-11,signs advising we couldn’t adjust the volume on the TV, no eating or drinking personal food in common areas. Everything is an extra charge, towels for the pool- €3, ping pong ball for the table - €1. It got to be a bit ridiculous with the signs posted every where. There is no WiFi in the rooms, only common areas. The bar staff was rude to my husband and I but was very friendly to the many regulars that seem to visit the hotel yearly. There was a resort type feel to the people staying there, most seemed to know the staff quite well , but stared at me whenever I had to walk through the lobby. The “beach” next to the hotel is terrible and the town was a bit of a walk away. It wasn’t all bad, the front desk staff was lovely when dealing with them and the nice clean rooms made up for being a bit out of the city. All in all, I was happy to leave and wished we could have left a day sooner. Too many rules to allow for relaxation.

I had an 8-day stay at hotel more with my boyfriend last week. We had a really nice stay and I would stay at the hotel again. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the hotel was quiet, and the beach was directly outside the front door. The pool looked quite nice, but we did not use it. The location was perfect for us. It is a 2 min drive to the old town of Alcudia and a 10 min drive to the port of Alcudia. It was also close to main roads for travelling around to other beaches. A couple of pointers to keep in mind: The hotel does not include any extras (shampoo, soaps, lotions) so be sure to bring your own or you can purchase for your stay at a grocery store in town. The daily charge for the wifi in your room is also per device. So if you have a computer and phone for two people this can add up quite quickly. But, it is nice to have a vacation where you are a bit cut off from technology, so this was not a big issue for our stay. However, if wifi in your room is important to you, this may be important to keep in mind. Also, most of the rooms have two single beds, not double beds. This may be important for those planning romantic vacations. But overall, if you have access to a car and are interested in staying in a location away from the big crowds I would definitely recommend the hotel and then taking day trips to explore the different beaches on the north of the island as there are many beautiful locations to visit.
