The staff was super friendly and very helpful, they made me feel very at home. The free breakfast was good and what you would expect for it being free. The beds were comfortable enough, and I had no problems with the showers. The location is a short distance to bus and rail. Not far to some places like Sagrada Familia

Cozy and convenient hostel. Close to the Passeig de Gràcia rail station, a bit difficult to find at first because there is only a small sign next to the doorway, one flight of stairs to reception then two more flights up to the room, cool set of skeleton keys, staff was very friendly and offered assistance in getting to the Camp Nou, breakfast was light but fresh and the kitchen was clean and functional, bathrooms were clean with plenty of hot water, great street view from the room but lots of street noise throughout the night coming through our windows, comfy bed. Overall it was a great place to stay for the price and location.

Excellent location - close to the metro, but very walkable to Plaza Catalunya.
Street traffic is noisy, most especially in the early morning.
Bathrooms are fine. Tiny shower, but clean.

The room was so incredibly hot, I slept in a pool of sweat, and tried open my window to get some air , however, I was met face to face with the neighbour’s bathroom next door, so that was kind of awkward. I also asked them to clean, and they took out the garbage, but maybe I was expecting too much? The bathroom was great, the housemates were great, staff tried to help, when I needed it mostly - one guy gave me a hand towel to use for my body after showering (this happened two days in a row). It’s good if you’re on a budget, and maybe not when it’s a heat wave, and maybe when you have your own body towel.

The location is great.
It is extremely noisy at night. The doors slam very loudly and the neighbours are not quiet, no matter the time of the night. I found it very hard to get any sleep.
This is definitely a “no frills” place. Do not expect anything more than a simple room.
It would also be nice if there was more than one towel, especially for a long stay.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. It's a great location for getting to the different sites. However, the street it's on is very noisy. Garbage is being collected around 12:30 most nights, people are out very late shouting and smoking right outside the building, and the traffic going by us constant with lots of horn honking and sirens even in the middle of the night. Since there is no AC windows have to be left open or the rooms become unbearable hot. You're left to decide if you want to be kept awake by the noise, or by roasting in your room.

I think it wasn't fair that I (Uruguayan citizenship) was made to pay cash at the arrival of property while at the same time guest from other nationalities (American from Usa) could pay their stay using credit cards. It didn't state CLEARLY what your policy was, for sure I won't make reservation with ebookers again, I strongly dislike this attitude.
