Nautic Hotell

We thought it was a high price for the size of room, but it is Sweden, and a popular beach vacation island area, so it was probably reasonable. The hotel is quaint, mice views of the harbor/sea area, good breakfast buffet, and comfortable beds. It was odd that you have to check in at a completely different hotel, and they didn’t give hotel information to every room in our party of several different related families. It was often hard to find the person who worked the front desk - she clearly has very many duties around the hotel, which mildly impacted our stay as we were unable to go for a planned swim on the last day because we and the breakfast staff were unable to get in touch with her to get a robe to walk down to the sea that the hotel provided, and we were concerned about being too cold on the way back to the hotel after getting in the chilly sea, and also not comfortable walking through town in just our bathing suits. The other odd thing was that the servicing of the room came very late in the day, and was barely noticeable. They folded up a used towel that was hanging up, but still damp, and water stamped the toilet paper. As far as we could tell, that was all that was done. We didn’t really need more, so we didn’t say anything, we just thought it was odd.

Nautic Hotell was a special place on the island of Marstrand. My husband and I did a last minute long weekend trip and ended it our three days at the Nautic Hotel. We had a room with a beautiful view, with patio, of the ocean. The rooms were clean. Breakfast in the morning was very good. We will come back to this hotel if we go back to visit Marstrand.

Good location. Nice breakfast. More like a B&B than a hotel- not really any reception or communal areas. Room was pleasant but in need of some redecoration.

Nice clean room. Walls are thin so bring ear plugs.

Stayed on top floor. Cosy and clean. Perhaps old plumbing but not the worst. Nice view fr window facing north to water.

Nice small hotel with a great breakfast area. We had a very small room with a doublebed and bathroom. Perfect as we did not want to spend any time indoor!

This was not at all what we expected. The shower door was broken, the sink war cracked and the TV wouldn't start. Too noisy and no personell or service. We will never stay here again

It’s an old hotel decorated in a Swedish romantic style that suits the building. We loved it. Room 11 has a tiny bathroom, not easy if you need a bit of room. Room 23 has a great bathroom with 2 sweet bed rooms. It was really easy to park near the ferry, which is the only way to Marstrand. The ferry runs 24/7, takes 2/3 minutes and cost just a few krona. Loved our stay.

Friendly welcome, safe room to store our bikes,quiet location away from summer crowds, lovely garden with chairs, tables and umbrellas, free coffee and tea, good value

Excellent location, close to the ferry, water, fort, and everything in Marstrand. The hotel is adorable and while we were on the third floor our room did have a lovely view of the water. The nautical decor and blue and white theme in our room was adorable. Quaint hotel, in a great location, for the right price. I would recommend this to any friends staying in Marstrand.

Came to relax at the end of our honeymoon for a few days and enjoyed our stay. We were a bit early in the season so not many resturaunts were open unfortunately. Other than that great stay!

Very nice host(s). Decent breakfast. Beautiful island village. No cars. Good for some walking, including climbing to the castle. Small rooms thought.

Access to the island is by ferry, 10 minutes ride. Do not take heavy luggage, as one has to walk on the island on pebble stone roads. If heavy luggage, some carts are available. If one selects B&B on top of the hill, ensure you can walk up hill with luggage. Lots of restaurants. Good place to relax and enjoy Swami in the bay. Not much public activities.

I can't imagine that there is anywhere nicer to stay on this beautiful island. The hotel was delightful & the staff were very welcoming. The breakfasts were wonderful. Thank you!

This "hotel" is more like a B&B. The room we got was a real small one. The service minded and kind staff saved our stay as we where offered a normal sized room.

Ett litet Hotell med pyttesmå rum och badrum - inte särskilt fräscht- badrum med skitigt duschdrapperi. Frukost den också liten men ok. Gulligt Hotell men det också det enda..

Hører under Grand Hotel. Kun morgenmad (middelmådig), ellers ingen service eller personale. Meget lille værelse, men alt er rent og rigtig hyggeligt, og Marstrand er jo et fantastisk sted!

Fantastisk beliggenhed, havde værelse 31 med hav udsigt. Smukt indrettet. Morgenmad var ikke god, kolde æg, kold kaffe.

Standard som ett pensionat, men marknadsför sig som ett hotell, små enkla rum, med en hel del anmärkningar, hasp till fönstret, trasigt, ingen städning av rummen, det är riktigt kass.
