Great location, wonderful, friendly and extremely helpful staff. Restaurants, bakeries, shopping, etc. are all within a minutes walk: Room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable and was a real treat after a long day on bicycles. The Chateau is about a 15 min. walk from the hotel. We would highly recommend the Hotel du Nord.

The evening member of staff who welcomed us late on Sunday 10 February she really went the extra mile, she assisted in helping two very weary travellers get something to eat when everywhere appeared to be closed. The delivery pizza was very welcome at 23.00. She was exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond her duties.

The hotel is modern, chic and simply designed. It has everything you need and more. The staff are amazing!!! Everyone went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed, helped with recommendations and travel and were just a wonderful team. From the morning breakfast to the glass of wine in the bar in the evening - it is so wonderful. Close to everything and easy to get around on bus, train or walking. Would definitely go back. Thank you Hotel du Nord for making our first European trip perfect.

Convenient to the train station and local area. Room very small and warm in summer. Had a fan and could leave the window open but voices carried from road. Breakfast was good. There is a clock tower that rings every quarter hour and stops around 2300hrs a couple of doors down

Clean modern hotel near train station, I up graded my room to a suite which was wonderful. Staff was helpfull and breakfast was good, I would diffenetly stay again on a business trip. The only issue was lack of air conditioning for the very hot july, other than that it's a less expensive option for a expensive part of Switzerland.

A comfotable hotel in the centre of town and not far from the railway station. A good buffet breakfast was provided but no other meals although there were a number of restaurants and cafes nearby. A bottle of mineral water was provided in the room daily and there was also a kettle with supplies of tea and coffee. There was a large flat-screen television and the lighting in the room was far better than I have found in many hotels, The reception was frequently un-manned and entry to the hotel in the evening was by key card.
