we stayed for 3 nights in 2 rooms me and mother the rooms are very basic and poor the window was very dirty the toilet is located partially under the sink complicated to use...i did not sleep any night because of terrible noise from the room near . no isolation at all so you can hear every word especially at 2 untill 5 when the neigbours are drunk ...I called imediately the reception every night but no answer I also complained every morning but nothing was done the hotel at the check out were sorry ...again...I could not care for the apologise since I had no sleep they promised a refound I never got any

The staff was warm and friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. It is located a short distance from the train station, so very convenient.

We got rooms on the 5th and 6th floor. The elevator was not working so had to carry the bags up in middle of night. Elevator issue was not mentioned at the time of booking. There was an ac unit leaking water on the bathroom sink and floor.

Only a short walk from the train station. Room was perfect for one person. Breakfast was good. Only problem was that the elevator was being repaired. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our room was clean, basic and no frills. The climate control did not work the first night, but the staff repaired it the next day.

Overall, the hotel is satisfactory. Room was clean, staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was good. Bedding was fine. The location is very good if you are making train day trips as it is an easy walk to the train station. However, in our room part of the toilet was basically under the sink vanity area... pretty tough if you are sitting. No proof, but we suspect that the hotel manages the heating/cooling system at night. We both woke up in a sweat around 2-3 a.m. a couple of nights and were unable to regulate the room temp; the wall control seemed unresponsive. Curb your expectations a little and you'll be fine at this iBIS hotel..

We had booked a room with two beds and did not get the required beds. Yet they added two 2 inches mattresses on top of a box spring which gave the illusion of two beds. The room was noisy and too hot, because the marvelous sun hit the window on the 6th floor. It was not possible to sleep with the window open because of the noise of trains and traffic on Rue Voltaire, ventilation was equally noisy. So if you plan to go to this hotel, ask for a room that is not on the west side overlooking Rue Voltaire. Breakfast was totally nice, with hot food as well as chacuterie, pastries, swiss cheese, three kinds of yogurt, and condiments like nuts, chia seeds. Fantastic breakfast. Very helpful staff too. The city of Geneva does give vouchers to visitors for the use of FREE all public transport, which the hotel will give you. Another great and definitely helpful feature. No need to worry about getting tickets. This was a great plus.

Room was clean enough for us but since it is budgetted, there is only wall socket with a 3 way extension at the same spot away from the beds. If you need to charge your device while resting, big, huge challenge. But it is budgetted, so one has to swallow it. We book this one because of the distance from the main train stn. But rather than whatever posted on which ever website, it is a good 3+1 block away with multiple crosswalks, some without signal and there are lots of random people on the roadside enjoying their lives.... Big task for us but good news is we will never go back. Front desk are good and can feel they are trying to help but since it is a budgetted hotel there is no much they can help for. You have to pay on top of your stay, basically everything, including a cup of coffee (lucky us we don't take), hot chocolate (almost got us but the machince was out of milk). Found a good sized (nearly one inch) silver fish in bathroom. we didn't even bother to report as it is a budgeted hotel. The pest control is either budgetted or they don't think it is an issue at all as we experience ants in Milan, bugs in Paris. European thing?? We are asked 21 CHF per head for their breakfast but after checking what is provided, we turned it down because to what we have experienced, it might worth just 15chF for all 3 of us.

Room was clean though the bath was a little tired and marked in places. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were excellent throughout our stay. Very helpful and always friendly a professional.

We had a lovely time at this hotel. Would highly recommend for anyone going on a short break to Geneva. Clean, warm, comfy rooms with a lovely hot shower. The staff were courteous, polite and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. It was kept fresh and topped up. Plenty of choice. Would highly recommend to anyone. Geneva Transport Card is sent the day before arrival and they provide a room to store luggage for free. Hotel was in an ideal location- 10-20 mins walk from many local attractions depending on where you are visiting. Near a supermarket and a local pizzeria takeaway who does delicious pizzas at a great price! 10CHF at Au 6 Pizza.
