Clean room, carpet is old, needs updating other than that everything is really nice. Very convenient distance to the pier. Beautiful view of Sun Moon lake. Staff are very helpful & friendly. Will stay here again in the future

Had a wonderful stay at Del Lago Hotel. The cleanliness was truly impressive — the rooms and common areas were spotless and very well maintained, which made the entire experience feel comfortable and relaxing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. Their attentive service really stood out and added a personal touch to the stay. Another highlight was the convenient location, especially with easy access to nearby dining and amenities. It made getting around effortless and added to the overall enjoyment of the trip. Overall, a great choice for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Would definitely return!

Excellent location at Sun Moon Lake; plenty of nearby dining options, e-bike rentals (e.g. day rentals to explore Sun Moon Lake) and right next to the pier where one can take a 2-way ferry across the lake. Was my first time visiting Sun Moon Lake in Nov-25, and the stay at this hotel made the experience very memorable

Super small room, very old Hotel

The room as great and the shower was massive. The hotel is a perfect location with Starbucks next door. Staff were very friendly.

Stayed for 1 night. Best location and price. It is situated right next to the main harbour of Shueshi. Free bicycle hire. And buffet spreat was 5 star! The only complaint was Vincent the front desk guy who was not friendly.

This is a solid choice when staying by Sun Moon Lake. The hotel location is excellent with breathtaking views. There is direct access to both the town side and the wharf. The rooms are very clean and there are excellent powerful showers and comfortable beds. Bicycles are available for free for guests. There are some niggles: the property is a bit dated - think 1990s high end - some of the plumbing/ flushing temperamental and a couple of staff less friendly than we got used to in Taiwan. Some may not like the design of the room where you have to go through the bathroom to get to the sleeping area. These are minor points and if we had the opportunity we would seriously consider staying again.

Great, kind and flexible customer service

2nd time that I stayed in this hotel. Ideal location even with a few parking spaces (we were lucky). But the hotel does not offer dinner since the chef ran away a few years ago. There is also no bar were to get a relaxing drink. Room service - forget it. Breakfast is good also catering a little bit for western desires.

Lake view and convenient in water tour and bus transportation

Staff is great, very responsive, curteous, and helpful. I give the staff 5 stars. The room is however missing some essentials like toothbrush toothpaste and slipper. The shower is leaking water to the bathroom floor. But the view is amazing and the room is beautiful!

It was a nice stay. It was close to the lake which is good specially with young kids with us.

Nice property that probably had seen better days. Good area, get the lake view room. However would suggest a refresh of furniture. Felt a bit dated. Lovely staff.

Breakfast is good!

Staff are helpful and polite. Stayed in room with lake view and it was quiet and peaceful (on Friday night). Breakfast variety is plenty too. Hotel provided complimentary fireflies watching as it happened to be fireflies mating season. It’s just a short walk to get public bus to Taichung HSR station and catching ferry at pier. There’s free 2 hours bicycle rental. If you are there on non peak season, they can allow u to use it for a couple hours.
