Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, offering whenever it is possible even before you realize you need it. The property is very modern and beautifully set up, both in room and in the common areas. They are also super pet friendly and are not only very accommodating but welcoming to your fur babies!

This is a lovely property that is both full service and yet feels very intimate. Our room was clean, spacious and well appointed, the restaurant, rooftop bar and lobby/social area were all wonderful. Even among other Kimpton properties we’ve stayed at, the staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating. We feel very fortunate to have chosen the Kimpton Da an for our week in Taipei.

This certainly has to be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. From the moment we walked in to reception to the moment we left, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The whole hotel is very modern and had all the amenities you could need. A great location in the city, and the nearest MRT is on the corner of the street. With free drinks and snacks during the early evening and a chance to chat with other guests being a bonus. We will definatly be back.

Staff are best! Excellent location. Love the arty feel of the hotel.
Two minor negatives: I stayed on level 11 (below the restaurant and bar), while sound proofing is good, you can hear frequent walking and chairs moving. If you are light sleepers, avoid that floor.
Also, the bedhead uses considerable space of the bed so if you like me (medium height 178cm), you will find your toes to be at the edge of the bed. If you are taller, definitely remove the bedhead!
