Beautiful resort, amazing staff!!

Our room was fabulous, as was the hotel overall. The pool area was large, meaning it never felt over crowded, and led out to a really good size private beach. The breakfast buffet had a great variety, changing daily, and the restaurant menu has enough to keep things varied for a few days.

Room was next to reception - it had no privacy from guests seated at receptionand extremely noisy. When asked if a move was possible - staff were quick to bite back and it turned into a extremely unprofessional discussion. Letters will be sent to The Mercure customer service email.

Stayed in the garden view room. Very nice and would not recommend paying any extra for rooms in main hotel. Breakfast was served in main hotel - unsure if this is due to it being off season and not many people staying in hotel.

I had an amazing stay at Mercure Samui Chaweng Tana – it strikes the perfect balance between comfort, style, and convenience, right in the heart of Chaweng. The hotel has a modern tropical vibe and a peaceful atmosphere, even though it’s just steps away from all the action. The location is ideal – only a short stroll to the beach and surrounded by shops, restaurants, and everything you need for a great time in Samui. If you can, book an ocean-view room – watching the sunrise every morning was absolutely magical. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with all the essentials you’d expect. I really appreciated how quiet it was at night – it made winding down after a day in the sun so easy. One of my favorite surprises came from the housekeeping team – they created lovely floral decorations on the bed every day. Their creativity and attention to detail truly made each return to my room feel special. The rest of the staff were just as fantastic. From the friendly front desk to the warm and welcoming restaurant and bar crew, everyone went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. The pool area is another highlight – peaceful, well-kept, and perfect for lounging with a drink or diving into a good book. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with a solid mix of local Thai options and familiar Western favorites – definitely something for everyone. Not too far away from the airport, everything was good and beautiful. The only are for improvement is the restaurant food but that being said.. the bars are gorgeous and there a lot food options outside

We stay in the building across the street from beach.The room was nice,clean however lack of privacy if you open the blinds(also no place to hang the wet swimming wear)

Important!!! All the pictures are from main hotel and its great. But My room was in a different building across the main road. With no balcony, fridge and very average breakfast. Bit it was clean and ok for just a room. Just know where your room is. Oh and the wifi is crap. So if you have to a bit of work or something go to a cafe.

The hotel was great snd looked nice. It was in a good to the beach and the local shops and restaurants. Staff were good in booking tours and assisting me with ideas for eating out.

Pictures only show the newer beachside building. The older building across the street is sub-par. Advertising is misleading. Will not stay at Mercure hotels again.

Fantastic hotel, the pool and outside areas are out of this world. Hotel steps out onto the beach. Room with balcony overlooking the pool was beautiful. Breakfast was very good. Thank you

Amazing facilities with pool in front of the beach, beach bar and restaurant, all serving high quality meals and drinks. Room was in the lovely restored old building. the room was large and with 3 balconies. all the details in the room, common corridors and areas are well curated. The beach and hotel facilities within are amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone.

It was ok for a five night stay.
