Rox Hotel

Only had problems with hotel WiFi. As the password and QR code didn’t work.end up buying my own roaming. Food was good and plenty to choose from. i”ll come back again thank you.

Breakfast was awful. Left over food from previous day, food cold, some of the cheeses was spoiled, coffee machine constantly breaking down, soup cold, same food everyday. Rude and unfriendly staff. I had to Change my first room because shower had mold non smoking room stench from cigarette smoke. The only good thing was the location. Over advertised. Nothing like they advertised.

Hotel looks modern and pretty. Staff is attentive and polite. However there was a terrible smell coming from the toilet. I was told this is a piping issue and always happens when it rains. The smell was so bad I struggled sleeping. Then major issues with food.. breakfast looked so colourful with so much variety, yet there wasnt a single item that tasted okay, including coffee from the machine. Im terribly shocked at how bad everything tasted. Finally i had to order dinner from the restaurant; just a lentil soup with mixed toast. The soup was so awful, I only could have two spoons and now have stomach ache - I am not one to ever easily complain about food, or write bad reviews. However this was so beyond terrible - possibly ready soup that gone off? plus 8 pieces of bread with almost nothing inside.. that I got furious and writing these lines despite my stomach ache. Considering canceling tomorrow's stay here even though i booked non-refundable. Finally, their gym is a joke. Never coming back.

I had so much fun at this hotel rhe friendly staff the care and the clean rooms the breakfast buffet has a lot of food varieties

The staff was amazing. The Manager Adda I believe was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. I recommend this place 100%

The stay was overall very pleasant and the services were what expected. Nice touch the cake for my uncle because of his birthday.

Close to Atatürk airport. Far from everything else. Close to the highway. Good for one night transit.

This is an old hotel. The staff was not atentive or receptive to any of our needs. The girls at breakfast were actually looking at the cell phone and talking amongst themselves. The breakfast was extensive but some of the basics like the fruits and eggs were empty and they had no even asked to replenish. There was noise as you could hear a truck right next to the hotel for a long time. Very esrly they were construction workers repairing rhe street.

The beds and pillows are uncomfortable and you can hear people next door, beside if they were smoking all the smell came to our room.

Cleanliness was not up to scratch. Was only allowed 1 toilet roll for my room, if the cleaner left 2 rolls upon my request it would be gone if I left my room. I paid for 9 days of breakfast for 2 of us and only ate it once at the hotel as it’s a very poor selection especially for the price! I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is clean and convenient for Ataturk airport. However, the rooms reek of smoke. I asked for a non smoking room which made no difference. The towels in the bathroom are ridiculously small. You need bath and hand towels. The reception was indifferent I didn’t feel particularly welcome and the following morning they arranged a taxi which went to the wrong destination.

The staff was very nice at the reception. The room was quiet and clean. There was a mall close to the hotel. I will come back here on my next trip to Istanbul. Highly recommended.

The room was basic. I was located on the last 5th floor with no access to terrace and it was where the air-con bodies were located outside, which was not very pleasing. The ceiling had dried out yellow spots throughout from prior leakages. Otherwise the room and bathroom were clean. The frustrating thing was that I asked for a late check out, as my airport transfer was not until 6pm, and was asked to pay half day rate. I paid and was told that I could keep the room until about 5-5.30pm. However, on the day 10mins to 5pm I got a call from reception that I need to make sure I vacate at 5pm sharp. Five hours late check out was certainly not worth half a day pay!! Overall, the hotel does not live up to its 4* and the staff including most reception struggle with English.

Was there for 2 nights on business and hotel was totally fine for a quick trip. Hotel is small but comfortable and in good condition. Restaurant has decent options and if your friendly to the staff, they are very friendly back. However, if you have an attitude don’t expect staff to respect you.

Staff was helpful most of the time. The noise is unbearabl, it is next to autobahn plus you can hear snoring (and everything else) from the neighbour rooms. Rooms are good sized but not clean enough .

Room. Ok. Little over used. AC is ok. Modest. Average in general. Breakfast was great. Free parking.
