Avion Inn Near LGA Airport, Ascend Hotel Collection

Great place. Nothing fancy but clean, good service, conveniently located close to LGA Airport and bus stations to connect anywhere throughout the city

I love the free shuttle to and from the airport. The surrounding area, I felt was questionable.

The area around the hotel is terrifying, but the hotel is terrific! Stayed here due to cancelled flights and it was just great. Clean and cozy and quiet. Staff is great. Zero complaints (save for the area, but hey, not the hotel’s fault!)

Staff was vwry kind and helpful made up fornlack of surrounding areas to eat. Places around and bars on windows. Graffiti on walls if stores. I walked dkwn there at about 10:30 PM. No issues. Room was nice for the area, nice size also. Clean. Shuttle driver, a gentleman who moved back home from Houston, was pleasant and nice. Over all, i would stay here again.

I would like to get a full refund for this reservation. This property should be not allowed to operate as a hotel and I sure will be loosing it’s license soon. The location is fine and staff was friendly, but the property should not be run as a hotel. It was very dirty. The carpet was so filthy and dirty you can catch a disease just by looking at it. Beds and pillows were not comfortable at all. It barely had any support. But what made it very difficult to fall asleep are the noises from the landing planes. I’m not sure if windows have proper noise canceling features, but I was making sure they were shut and locked completely. Nonetheless we were able to hear planes lending every 5 to 7 minutes. And every time I would fall asleep, I would awoken by a very lound noise, like I am standing outside. It was another plane landing. And after a few of those I was unable to fall asleep at all.My daughter that was sleeping next to me would twitch her body every time the plane was right above our hotel. It felt almost like missiles were flying above us. It was more nerve recking and not relaxing at all! Forget about sleep. Only around 12:30am we were able to shut our eyes. That was not acceptable and very disappointing experience for us. $236 for the night like this at barely 1 star hotel is a extremely overpriced rate. We need a full refund for this please.

It was one of the only options for overnight stay due to LGA closing. Prices were inflated due to this. Room was quite small but comfortable except for the A/C unit could not be adjusted. It was either on or unplugged.

Room was tired but bed was comfortable. Having shuttle service to air plane was nice. Breakfast is just a grab bag.

I had to use this hotel after a LaGuardia flight was canceled. They charged 303 dollars for the equivalent of a Motel 6. I paid 275 for a beautiful mid town hotel. Just price gouging due to a canceled flight

Nasty hotel I never stay in it

Perfectly adequate for a last-minute airport stay.

The property isn’t the fanciest, but the lady at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful with directions to where we were trying to go.

Good choice if you want to stay overnight waiting for a flight. Room was clean, the property well maintained. The shuttle to the airport very convenient and the driver courteous. The area around the hotel is not really walkable, not much else to do.

We had no problems making booking arrangements and the staff was pleasant and welcoming. We’d go there again.

Not worth the money

The only reason to stay here is your flight is canceled and you need something close to the airport at the last minute, for that reason it serves a purpose. Aside from that it is pretty sketchy.

Very friendly

The stay was great! I was pleasantly surprised! Picked me up from LGA airport and the hotel is maybe 5 minutes drive. I called and they met me at the curb quick and easy. The room was pretty small, but clean and all I needed. Quiet and comfortable. In the morning I needed some extra time and they gave another hour and even said I could leave my bags at the desk that day until I was picked up or if I needed a ride back to the airport they would take me there as well. Even a small sack breakfast to go. They were all very friendly and accommodating. Definitely didn't expect the service I got from just a 3-star hotel. Would stay again.
